  1. They do have transfers dnd they did have luggage valet for certain airlines, not sure if it has resumed post shutdown though. Transfers are appx. $40pp
  2. Coming up soon. Sort of a mini Bella reunion sailing for a few of us. Only 5 weeks until we board the Ovation May 2 HNL to YVR. I was able to get a great last minute deal and flights were insanely cheap so I'll be joining @FromSeaToShiningSea @CruiszBug as well as @Ozark_Kidwho wasn't on Bella 1 but will be gor Bella 2. Another Bella 2 is also trying to get some time off and join us.
  3. Cancelling on board will result in a refundable obc issued to your account which if unused will be refunded at the end of the cruise. It doesn't automatically get refunded to your credit card. Works outvthe same in the end but if different cards were used for on line purchases vs on board purchases it may have an impact
  4. You don't even need to be linked. As long as you know their room number you can make their reservation.
  5. 48 hours is a safe number. As long as the manifest has not been sent it could bd vloser to sailings than that.
  6. The timing varies but I have seen sailings still open to book on Royzls site unti about noon the dsy prior to sailing. As for just showing up at yhe pier, that is no longer done
  7. Itineraries only being released through April has been the standard for at least the last decade. This coming November and December they will release through April 2026.
  8. Wonder for whatever reason is opposite most ships and has the smoking area on the starboard side of the pool deck.
  9. Probably because the bartender serving it is not letting you know you are using you last voucher.😇
  10. I think you might be confused as Harmony is already scheduled to take over for Allure out of Galveston next year. As John mentioned, some of the lowest prices for sailings are out of Galveston and putting in new ships like Allure and then Harmony did not change that. No way they are putting a brand new ship in Galveston when they can charge double or more out of Florida.
  11. To prevent people from scooping up a bunch of cabins when they see a good deal and then reselling them on a secondary market for a profit. No different that you cannot resell airline tickets
  12. I haven't posted much all week and missed a whole lot of the thread. Between me not feeling well at the beginning of the week then Vikki not feeling well at the end of the week it was certainly an interesting week. It was so nice meeting everyone, some for the first time, and hopefully not the last but also sailing again with others thst we haven't sailed with in years. Missed having our host @John&LaLa with us last night in the Schooner bar. Then there are also a few that I'll see in about 6 weeks as we do the Hawaii to Vancouver sailing on Ovation. Taking my son on that one which certainly kept me out of the doghouse that I would have been in if I sailed that solo. Glad to see that some are already home, some on their way and others about to begin their journey. Safe travels to all and lokingbforward to thst next sailing.
  13. There are probably dozens of "undue hardship" stories on every cruise. It is not up to Royal to compensate guests for these situations and in my experience they don't. I hope your travelling companion recovers and is able to travel.
