We had the chance to cancel our Navigator cruise 8/23 that was changed to Freedom because we couldn't get the same cabins. I got a partial refund on 6/17 and when I called RCCL they told me I had get my TA to call them so they could release the info. I told them that my TA was the one who called them to cancel the cruise. I'm wondering who's running the process! Sounds like a big stall to me.

been cruising the caribbean since 1991 and don't ever remember ever seeing a whale watching tour.We have done the whale watching tours out of Maine and always enjoyed them.

I just got a 2 refunds on a Navigator cruises that was moved to Freedom in about 10 days, but have no idea what they are for. I had no Cruise Planner purchases and the amounts don't match any port taxes or any other fee from my invoice. It's not a full refund so I guess I'll have to call RCCL to find out this about.

We were to go on Navigator 8-23 and all bookings go on to Freedom, we cancelled because we could not get the same cabins (4) that we had on Navigator. This could be why all the shifting is going on from one ship to another.

They tried assigning times years ago, didn't seem to work out well.

Is there way to check on refund status without having to keep calling RCI? Maybe somehow online?

you should have gotten an email. Wouldn’t it include a link to request refund? If you book thru T/A they have to handle all transactions

My T/A says she can't get thru to rep about refunding my cancelled cruise, mostly because so many pax want refunds. She said it could take several days to get a hold of them (SNAFU).

Sorry to hear. I hope I have better fate tomorrow. I was told by my TA that I have to wait until Monday to get new pricing. Did you book directly through RCI?
No we booked thru T/A this is the second cancellation and there are 8 others that just said they've had enough, after 35 cruises we are looking for land based vacations.

I got notified when I went to my Cruise Planner site

We will be asking for total refund, we had the cabins we liked (4) on Navigator and can't get them on Freedom.

Just got notice last night that our cruise is cancelled. They gave us three options 1. FCC 2.Full refund 3. Be changed to sail on Freedom with same cat. cabins.
We had four cabins and I think everyone is fed up with this and are requesting a full refund. I think in the long run RCCL will regret the way they are handling all this. They also said that we will get our refunds in 45 days(Yea right).

We are going on a cruise with two stops at CoCo Cay and am wondering if you can get a deal on a two day pass or do you have to pay for each day.

Years ago they sailed out of San Juan at 11:30 PM, always great views One year there must have been a festival because we could watch land based fireworks from the fort area ,really neat to see.

We sailed on many Thanksgiving week cruises mostly out of San Juan. They always have the Turkey dinner thing but I always had the Prime Rib for dinner. I can get turkey at home for $.49 a lb. but not Prime Rib for that. We did those cruises so I could shut down my business for only 3 days, worked out well.

I use Air2Sea most times but I called the other day about flights and was told a price that I can beat on Orbitz. I don't know what their doing but I don't like the change to the website( call only) or the new pricing.

How far out does RCCL require final payment, is it 60 or 90 days?

Agree, been on Cruise Critic since 1997 and seen many Members come and go. Even though he was on here few short yrs doubt there will be another like him...
I've also been around many years and I remember someone named Kiki or something like that that was also very good. I don't know why they only seem to start dates at 2000 but it seems longer to me.

RCCL used to give out lists of pax when we started cruising 1991 and the early 90's, to tell the truth we never payed much attention to them.

Same nonsense here, we were booked on Navigator for 8-23-21 cruise that was switched to Freedom. We asked for refund because we couldn't get the cabins we wanted on new ship I got a partial refund and when I called RCCL to ask about refund they told me that my TA had to give them the okay to talk to me.I told them the my TA was the one who cancelled the cruise. Now I get a e-mail from RCCL which is a FCC without a word about a refund. I have a call into my TA to try and straighten this mess out. The rest of our group( 3 cabins) has gotten refunds and I still wait. After about 35 cruises with mostly with RCCL and Celebrity I'm getting very frustrated with their customer service.
