  1. It DOES include use of the Thermal area. Aurea Spa has the Thermal Area (Snow Room, Finnish Sauna, Himalayan Salt Room, Sensory Steam Baths, Aromatherapy Showers). Massages, facials, etc is what the discount is for.
  2. I know YC has the Premium Extra Drink Package in the price. Question is does that package work outside of the YC at any of the bars too if I want to wander a bit?
  3. Just got off Divina last Friday. Mrs. Walkinman is correct. I was always using the area by the pool, 14th deck, port side. Maybe the 1st 6-7 tables coming from the forward part of the ship. All under cover. With ashtray provided. Even an area just forward of that covered, there are a few cig butt floor style ashtrays. Bar Service guys/gals would come by to take your bar order. FYI, Carton of cigs were $48 Very accommodating for sure. So much, that I booked another cruise for late January 2023 on MSC. Same itinerary. But bumped up to Yacht Club.
  4. Wow, pretty restrictive. Not sure I would enjoy the slow speed all the time. Plus not being able to switch driver and rider is too restrictive. Now I know why I saw no one on one except the Lifeguard. Thanks for the info.
  5. Was just on Ocean Cay and could not get over to the waverunner/Seadoo rental area. Anyone have a current rate of charge and how long the rental period is?
  6. I too was on the starboard side. 11th deck. Light show on the lighthouse was like 5 minutes if that. 1 show at 9, 1 at 10. Different shows. Glad I was able to see from my balcony. Real glad I did not get off the ship for it.
  7. The small cup of gelato was $3.50. Large $5.50 I believe. A can of Sprite was about $3.97 after all the charges. I did not see any shops open when the ship was at Ocean Cay during the day. At night, it was all open like you were sailing. We spent 2 days at Ocean Cay. Off site parking I used is called Port Canaveral Parking. 3050 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953 About 5 minutes or so from the ship. $11.95 a day, including day of return, so for a 4 night cruise, you get charged for 5. Plus port entry fee of $7. Compared to $17 a day at the port. I saved a few bucks plus I did not have to walk far with luggage...:). Best to book online. Saves time at gate.
  8. Just got back from a 4 day Divina trip out of Port Canaveral yesterday. Nassau and MSC Private Island visited. No much on the island that I saw from my balcony. Did walk around on it. Numerous beaches to use. I must say that the ship and all its staff were OUTSTANING. From the terminal workers to all the men and women onboard. Keri the Cruise Director kept us pretty much informed of all the happenings onboard. Food and service at the restaurants were real good. The evening shows were pretty good I must say. Ship had about 1900 guests. About half full for what I understand. There were no large crowds at elevators or lines at the buffet. The formal restaurants got me in and out within about 45 minutes. Dinner was at 6. I was always able to make the 7pm show. I felt like I was on my own private yacht with the small crowd and the service the workers gave us. We had a mercy mission the last night. We had to turnaround and go help a small boat in distress is what Keri said.. As it turned out, another ship took the lead, was closer, and took it for action. Heard the results riding back to my car on the bus. Arrived in port on time. Off port parking was used. Saved some money that way to pay for an extra drink or 2 onboard. πŸ™‚ Most guests carried their luggage off so we were able to leave the ship starting at 7:15am. Prior, one was able to eat breakfast before leaving. Line off ship and through customs was quick and easy. Quickest I have seen after many many many cruises. For you smokers, a cartoon of cigs cost $48.00. I did not price out booze as there were too many to investigate. Casino was pretty much dead. A lot of black jack tables sitting idle and a few with just 1 or 2 playing at a time. It was a pretty quiet cruise for me with EXCELLENT Care and Service. It was a quick getaway booked on Thursday prior, leaving Sunday. I would not hesitate going on the Divina again.

  10. Going on the Divina tomorrow for a 4 day get away. Anyone that has been on her recently, have you noticed prices of the cigarettes?
  11. I take it, the Aurea package is the Easy Select Package??? Just booked one out of Cape Canaveral tomorrow. Has been at least 5 years since I have been on the Divina and MSC for that matter.
  12. Just saw this mention. Something about ordering food off it, but ordering in room phone was cheaper. Something like that. Any cons of using this app while onboard?
  13. Wondering if a hanging bag can go through ports x-ray? Driving to port. Quicker and easier to just do it as a carry on is my though IF it will go through the x-ray machine at check in
  14. I just booked 2 inside cabins, after 13 others cruises being either balcony or suites. Mind you, they are 4 or 5 dayers, but I am experimenting to see if inside cabins will work for just me so I can book more getaways at a better price point now that I am retired and a widower, living in Florida with many ports to choose from. Port Canaveral is the closest though. Booked a deck 1, aft cabin for 1 and deck 7 on another to see if there is a difference in comfort. Then will go from there.
