  1. I've seen them on plenty of menus in NY and NJ. No specific restaurant comes to mind. Sorry. Teddie
  2. Ships are big, but the ocean is always bigger. My husband loves the roll, pitch and yaw. teddie
  3. Fish tacos are a long time โ€œthingโ€. I rarely order them because Iโ€™ve yet to find any Iโ€™ve really liked. Still searching though. teddie
  4. The RCI app does have an entertainment section, and I figured that if I checked back in the weeks before my cruise date approached, I might find something that I could reserve prior to sailing. Spectra showed up. Itโ€™s complimentary ( which means free), but it required a reservation. I explore the app pretty much every day for my Feb 4 2023 sailing just to see if anything else is new across all the sections. But thatโ€™s how I roll. I like to know as much as possible in advance. teddie
  5. Jeeze. Glad you are happy but obvi, the OP wasnโ€™t. So unnecessary.
  6. Thanks so much for your excellent, and often hilarious review! Please cruise more and sooner so we can be treated to more reports from you. Teddie
  7. I re-read your post and now understand. I am a little slow tonight ๐Ÿ™‚ Teddie
  8. Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚ In my haste, I responded before reading the entire post--apologies, as I guess I got distracted by the term "carry my big luggage", lol. I've edited my post. Teddie
  9. OK. I'll say it. I am going to assume you realize what a pain it could be for you to drag your big suitcase to whatever you plan on doing on board until the stateroom hallways are opened up--I see that you are boarding late, so that will help a bit. And the amount of space it will take up on the elevators at a very busy time for your self and others. Teddie
  10. None. Love, food, attention, and adequate rest are what any 18 month old needs, whether on land or sea. โค๏ธ
  11. We always buy trip insurance with an enhanced medical evacuation package that will cover your return to your hospital of choice. This is important because if you should have an illness or injury, letโ€™s say, in the Caribbean, and you reside in the USA, your basic trip insurance will only cover your return to the closest appropriate stateside hospital. So that could mean youโ€™ll possibly be evacuated to a hospital in Miami. How you get back to your own home state and hospital of choice is then on your dime, and medical evacuation from there, especially if itโ€™s by air ambulance is extremely costly. I learned about this through several years as a program coordinator at a well-known rehabilitation hospital in NJ. I facilitated patient admissions to the rehab hospital from all over the world following an injury while cruising or land traveling, and saw the difficulties families faced trying to get their loved ones back home. I typically go through Travelguard for my coverage (and no; I do not work in the insurance industry). Stay healthy and donโ€™t scrimp on insurance! teddie
  12. Of course they donโ€™t suggest that !! Iโ€™m speaking to all who were shocked to hear that acupuncture was a potentially effective treatment for nicotine withdrawal.
  13. But even considering that one session would cure smoking? Not even close to realistic. I know that 99.9% of posters here are either rocket scientists or medical practitioners ๐Ÿ™„ Best to do one's homework before ridiculing the OP. Just sayin' that it would be nicer around here if people weren't so quick to criticize....acupuncture CAN help reduce nicotine cravings--not always on its own, and not with everyone. See some reliable sources cited below. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11676576/#:~:text=Conclusions%3A This study confirms that, and their desire to smoke. https://health.clevelandclinic.org/want-to-quit-smoking-acupuncture-can-help-you-with-cravings/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6662782/
  14. The Black Friday deal made it happen. I would not be interested in paying more than the ~$90 pp. Teddie
  15. Check and see if there are other cabins available in your same category and request a switch. Once a cabin is assigned, you can do this. Teddie
  16. Yes, thanks. We have the Diamond daily drink vouchers which I believe are valid for use on Coco Cay ๐Ÿ™‚
  17. For our February 2023 Anthem cruise, we snagged this for half price at ~ $87 per person during this last Black Friday sale. I know that we can enjoy the day without any upcharges, but I like the idea of eliminating any planning/guess work for our first visit to Coco Cay. We are in a regular balcony cabin, don't plan on much specialty dining, so we like the idea of a bit of upscale treatment, especially at that price ๐Ÿ™‚ Teddie
  18. It's premade and in individual 11 oz cartons. I am going to put them in my carry on to prevent man-handling LOL
  19. Bring a light reusable grocery/tote bag with a flat bottom for the pastries, etc. That will free up your hands to carry the drinks. If they put your drinks in the cardboard caddy, you can put those in the bag too, once they are secured in the caddy. Teddie PS I like that you want to do this: catch the sunrise AND bring an early treat for you and your wife back to the cabin--I am sure if you had wanted to order room service, you would not have bothered posting your question ๐Ÿ™‚
  20. Thanks--should these be packed in my carryon, or is it ok to pack in checked bag? As far as the extra typing goes, I figured I could go for it and then only hope...lol.
  21. ....sealed containers of protein supplement drink? Appreciate in advance: no comments regarding why I am asking this question ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks, Teddie
  22. Iโ€™m thinking itโ€™s likely no different than taking a baby on a land vacation. Baby just needs the usual love, attention, and sleeping routine. Itโ€™s all up to you ๐Ÿ™‚
  23. All I can say to the โ€œslowdownโ€ process is that if the porter has to stop and spend a few extra minutes to write a tag, it may cut into the porter's money-making prospects. But a โ€œgoodโ€ porter likely has the timing down pretty wellโ€ฆ teddie
