  1. I have read that RCI accomodates passengers who are on peritoneal dialysis, which requires even larger and heavier bags of treatment solutions, so I am thinking this is possible (I am a Registered Nurse). I would first email special_needs@rccl.com and confirm exactly what they require: physican documentation, prescriptions, supply list, etc. Ask if there would be customs issues getting clearance for the TPN and supplies. As the previous poster mentioned--I am thinking your wife has reliable central line access of some kind and you are knowledgable in managing any unexpected complications with it. Best of luck and hopefully things go smoothly for your cruising needs!
  2. Thank you---these are the ones I purchased. Teddie
  3. Thank you--I purchased these to use as well. Teddie
  4. Hello, and thanks in advance... How important is it to print out the luggage tags in color? I only have a B&W printer. Should I go to Staples and pay for color print outs, or is it a non-issue? Teddie
  5. On the app under dining, check out the main dining menu for that night. You will get the theme there.. teddie
  6. Yes. Follow the link and place your bid on the cabins that are offered, even though the ship shows as "sold out". I am new to Royal Up, so I am sure others will chime in. Teddie
  7. You are hilarious and I love it!!! Teddie I don't even speak Poker, but you have me DYING over here!! Keep 'em coming! Teddie
  8. Check out this page to find your cabin: https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Explorer-of-the-Seas On the page for deck 6, You will find a Youtube video of cabin 6590, which is the same type as yours.
  9. Hello, RCI Special Needs have confirmed our request for a fridge for meds. Anyone know: Can we expect a square dorm-sized unit, or a taller one ? I’m wondering where it’s placed in the cabin—do they replace the chiller that’s already there? Does it get placed on the floor or on the counter? (Hoping it doesn’t take up too much real estate). . thanks!
  10. Some people are that desperate. Glad I do not walk in their shoes.
  11. Just being on the ocean is a joy. Also, not cooking or making my bed is another one 🙂
  12. Last place you'll find me on any vacation is in a laundry room. If we are flying to the ship, we bring half as much tees, pjs, socks, and undies that we need and send the laundry bag out halfway through. To those who want to do laundry, have at it!
  13. Thank you! We snagged two passes for the Coco Beach Club for half price on the Black Friday sale in November, and that looks like it will be worth it--full price would not seem worth it to me at all. We are thinking of lunching in the Solarium on sailaway day--would be a good change from the WJ.
  14. So much of food, entertainment, fun/flop is subjective. But I guess complainers pipe in more than the happy peeps.
  15. Thanks--honesty is appreciated. The rocking boat part was meant to be silly--the ocean is bigger than any boat, and I know that well; I had to add that in for absurdity value 🙂
  16. Thanks a bunch! I suppose those who cruise multiple times a year would grow tired of certain things... We also love cruising out of Bayonne-- it's literally 30 minutes from where we live, and I enjoy the perk of packing as many shoes as I like! Teddie
