We did Discovery last year and loved her. I'd love to do the cruisetour, I think I would do the train part first. I was disappointed we had to miss Skagway though, we had the train excursion there schedule, but the landslide screwed that up.

We love inside cabins (Great for those afternoon naps for us old folks 🤣) the only thing I had against the sideways one was when I get up at 4:30am and try to leave to let DW sleep, the light would shine right in her eyes. As far as being bigger, I didn't see any difference. Just my 2 cents worth (which is all I can afford).

I'll put my little 2 cents in here on couple of other ways to get OBC. 1) Veterans from US, Canada and I believe England can get OBC 2) 1oo shares of CCL also gets you OBC in case you plan on doing more cruising on Princess or even some of the other lines Carnivale owns. 😊

I do, I send everything as an email. I get statement from broker in PDF and blank out account number and fill form out and attach both as email...easy peasy.🤣

I saved the form as a PDF to my computer, that way I can fill it out every time by computer and fax or email it and it looks neater than my handwriting 🤣

Glad you started this thread, I just had to buy DW her own scooter. We have an upcoming cruise in May. Just wonder if it is possible to use tender with them or if she'll have to stay on the ship for those ports.

While this is true, I hear some people replace other things like David for D instead of Delta, and Robert for R instead of Romeo. But the results are the same 😊

If you have each other listed as shipmates I think one person could make the reservations. But I don't remember seeing tables for 6 in the crown grill...doesn't mean they don't have any. And BTW...I'm guessing DH is a marine, thank him for his service 😊. Also, in case you all don't know about the military OBC, don't forget to check for it 😊

I tried booking our next cruise this way. I have always pick the room I wanted. Look's like this new CEO is making changes for the worse to me.

That doesn't go just for pilots. The phonetic alphabet was taught in the US military for years. My father was in the Army as a radio operator in WWII and it was even taught back then 😊 and I was taught it in basic training back in the 70's and I'm pretty sure it's still taught today.

We were on the Discovery Last August and they didn't have any ships then for the same reason. I hope it's getting better now.

The pen is just to give length scale. The model of the crown was from 2011.

The last one I bought was in 2019 on the Regal and I think it was around $30 USD. It is pretty large compared to the first one I bought of the Crown.

Good luck. I just had one email me last week saying she was my CVP. So I called her last Friday because DW and I are looking at a cruise for May and some things in are traveling have changed (Dw needs to use a scooter now) and decided maybe best to talk to a planner to see what we may need different. Needless to say, here it is Wednesday and she still hadn't gotten back to me. I called Princess to talk to someone, when I told her I wanted to talk to someone about a cruise because my CVP haven't called me back, she said I'd have to email another department to request another CVP. I told her I didn't want to have to jump through hoops just to talk to someone to talk to to book a cruise, so she said hold on a minute and I'll get someone to help you. After holding on for 45 minutes they hung up on me. I tried chat, and it got nowhere . Princess doesn't care about thier customers anymore.

I could be wrong (Wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last) the only refundable OBC I know of is military benefits. That would be 3 b2b 14 day cruises to have $750 OBC....but I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will be happy to tell me 🤣
