  1. I can’t access mail on our desktop. When I was on it every day, we were AT&T. We switched everything to Comcast Infinity right before COVID. Kept my AT&T email address. But stopped using the desk top. I have done everything on my iPhone for three years. Needed to do something on the desktop, and finally got in, but can’t get into email. The security questions only have one possible answer, and they get rejected. I have no other answer for first car and street I grew up on. My email is Yahoo. I don’t know if Comcast can get me into it on the desktop, but since I have no problem (knock on wood) on my phone, I don’t have to worry about it. I am so computer illiterate, I can’t even explain it well. I can live in ignorance, except I can’t print things from emails, and that bugs me.
  2. Fresh Maine lobster is very sweet. I can usually tell if a tail is Canadian or from other cold water. But it’s similar to Maine’s. Caribbean definitely has a different taste. I can eat lobster tails on a cruise; sometimes they’re pretty good, but it takes two or three to make a meal. I hope I like the new menus more than I think I will!
  3. I have good memories of my school years. The sad part is that my closest friends from 13 years of school and after, are all gone. Most of my graduating class is gone. It’s kind of weird th think if I want to ask “Remember when, I have to look in the mirror!” Thankfully, I have newer friends to make newer memories with!
  4. I missed uniforms by a year twice. The year I started as a freshman in high school, my elementary school went to uniforms. I graduated from high school, and that September uniforms started. My children wore uniforms from kindergarten on. The high school girls skirts wore like iron. I passed my DD’s skirts on to my niece, who passed them on to a neighbor. My DD just turned 60, and I’ll bet there is still a Bishop Kenny student wearing her skirts!
  5. What a lovely celebration! And you were celebrating a happy marriage, not just the anniversary of a long ago wedding!
  6. I had Synvisc 20 years ago in my nonreplaced knee, and so far, so good, believe it or not! I was hoping to postpone a replacement, and it worked! Hoping I didn’t just jinx myself!
  7. I had looked at the new dinner menus for the Feb 26 cruise. then I decided to see if Steak Frites were still available at lunch, but apparently the MDRs are not open for lunch, except for The Key 3 times including sailing day. I checked all three MDRs, and then backed up and looked at this coming week. Same thing. I could see it if we were in port every day, but even sea days show the dining rooms closed. Am I the last person to find this out? I have missed the Tutti Salad, now I have to miss the Steak Frites?
  8. My DH keeps the whole pizza on a plate and covers it with another plate. more sanitary when getting on a crowded elevator, and it’s still pretty warm when I get it.
  9. I’ve saved a room service tray in the past, and kept it in the closet.
  10. There are boys and their toys and then there are men with their TOYS! I love to see guys have a hobby they get joy from.
  11. When I was growing up, we never went to the beach without two boards, burlap bags, a shovel and some stout rope. The soft sand farthest from the water gobbled up all four tires. Everybody came equipped, and everybody pitched in.
  12. Our base unit is in the office. Then we have 3 units in the kitchen, living room and our bedroom. I have the ringer turned off in the bedroom, which works great for me. Not so much if Dick goes to Publix while I’m napping. He gets testy if he has to make a second call, to my cell. I asked him once why he doesn’t call the cell first. His reply was he shouldn’t have to!
  13. I was so nervous watching the Jags game last night I finally went into another room, muted the tv and read while I watched it. Our offense was not firing on all cylinders, but our defense stepped up and won the fame. And yay Josh Allen reacting so quickly to that fumble!
  14. Thank you so much! I took a screenshot of your very helpful info and put it in my Mariner folder. I literally have no knowledge about Bermuda besides pink sand beaches and a few hotels I’ve seen mention of over the years. I asked my son about his week stay and he said other than taxis to and from his hotel, he was in meetings all week. I guarantee I’d have managed to see a lot more than the four walls and a few restaurants/bars! Now that I have a starting point, I will look at a map and get a much clearer idea of the island. Thank you again! Mimi
  15. We have never been to Bermuda, and Dick actually found this, typed up a fancy certificate and gave it to me for Christmas. So I have one to look forward to after our Feb Wonder cruise. I have a lot of research to do, so we can see as much as possible, considering my lack of stamina for walking.
