Thank you so much your opinion. I really like the Explorer itinerary and have never been to Grenada. I need to think this thru after reading your take. We were on the Seranade of the Seas last June to Alaska and loved that class or ship as we have been on the Jewel twice. Thank you all for your advise. .

In March of 2024 looking at above i have been on Symphony before (as well as Oasis & Allure) but never on Explorer. The Explorer is port intense which I like but not sure how ship will be…when last refurbished, condition of ship, etc. Any opinions? Thanks

Can anyone verify the actual number of hot tubs in the Solarium on HOTS? I know there is no pool in the Solarium. I have been on Oasis and Allure few times and I know there is a small pool but I really didn’t use. Does anyone feel it’s a big deal breaker not to have the pool in the Solarium…just wondering other peoples opinions. Thanks

We just got back from sailing on Oasis and stopped in Coco Cay while we did not rent anything my husband and I both agree we will go straight to South Beach. There is a floating bar, round tables in water and plenty of chairs. Looked really nice.

We always do a carry on and just try and drop off bags if it looks like our room is done.

I prefer the Central Park Balcony anytime over Broadwalk...unless you have as they might enjoy 🙂

We took an Alaska cruise in June of 2022 and also found that the Dining Room was fine temp wise. For the first time on any cruise, I packed leggings that were lined for during the day and a few nice looking down vests for outings. The vests came in handy with zipper pockets during the day for my room card, etc. I also always wear a dress to dinner no matter where we are cruising, just makes it feel more special while dining in the main dining room. An Alaska cruise is more casual during the day than other cruises, just be comfortable.

Hi just my two cents…we did Alaska out of Vancouver last June and we will never again fly to or out of Vancouver it was a nightmare. It took a hours to get on ship going in/out customs there and back. However I have not sailed out of Seattle. best of luck, expect long lines.
