  1. So if ship leaves Saturday the would test three days before be Wednesday?
  2. I always use CVS for antigen tests for recent cruises just wait for results and I try and schedule early in day. I think my insurance covered as I have not paid out of pocket. Tried Walgreens and at the time only did PCR test which can take couple says. My backup plan was to do walk in at emergency facility. I would do CVS and keep checking when calendar opens to schedule test. Best of Luck
  3. We also just got off this cruise. The whole process to get on to the ship was awful (customs, etc). Our plan landed at 11:55 and by the time we made it thru entire process, we didn't board until 3:15 pm. On the way home we got off the ship at 8:55 am and arrived to the airport early. Our flight was at 2 and we stood in a line and made it up to another line to check in three hours before. Our boarding time was 1:20 and by the time we made it thru all the lines (customs, etc) it was 12:55. Please allow plenty of time. The cruise was great.
  4. Good afternoon I completed necessary steps in app prior to sailing and all checked as completed except Health & Safety. When I try to complete on app it stated I would receive an email at 12 noon to complete (I have received many emails recently about my trip so I know my email is correct). I never received email. I logged on to my computer and said something like sailing closed. Under day before cruise it did state if can’t access app….answer your health questions at terminal. Has this happen to anyone before? Thanks I know there were issues yesterday on their website as I read so on forums (unrelated to my issue here) maybe this is still the case? I’m on hold with RC for a while now. Thanks for your advice everyone
  5. Thank you very much for replying. Joseph - So after you left airport and arrived in Canada Place Terminal to board the ship…..no one asked you to see the second Arrivecan QR code? I will still do the Arrivecan with cruise ship details, just wondering.
  6. Okay, I created an ArriveCAN App for my flight into Canada and received my QR code. I leave Sunday 6/19 to fly into Canada and get on cruise ship same day 6/19 (trip starts and ends in Vancouver 6-19 thru 6-26) i am trying to create a new form on ArriveCan to submit for the cruise ship information but can’t seem to do another form for cruise ship, how do I create or submit another form? I thought I could do now (at home while I have WI-FI) before I board ship, do I have to wait til I land? Or do I download app on husbands phone and create another account to meet Arrivecan cruise ship info? Thanks,
  7. Hi Guys - need help please regarding Airport in Vancouver and Pier Terminal at Canada Place… so when I fly into airport I go thru customs and what do I show them…visa, ArriveCAN info? How does this work and how long will it take at airport. then sounds like 45 minutes to pier from airport. I was just reading my contract and I guess I didn’t realize at Pier I go thru a US customs and border protection area at Pier before boarding ship. What documents are they looking for to clear me? How long does this process take. I am on tight time frame as I land 12:30 pm…day of…hope this is enough time as never been to Vancouver. Yes I know should have flown in night before but hubby didn’t want to. Thanks for help with answering questions.
  8. Hi, sorry to hear you got Covid on cruise. I can’t answer your question but just wondering how the cruise was and how far long into cruise did you get Covid? i am boarding this same cruise soon and just wondering how your experience was, overall considering you got Covid. In Canada where did you stay…did RC help you find lodging? I do hope you are better. Sincerely Orange jeep

  11. I forgot the first part of the question what best describes your primary reason for entering Canada
  12. Hi, I am in process of creating account thru ArriveCAN app and I know people said easy but one question I am confused on What do you put for reason for travel…..there are categories you choose from and these are two options category Discretionary/Optional Travel - but the explanation of this states…. Foreign Nationalists who intend to enter Canada for visits leisure, travel, weddings or tourism I’m not a foreign nationalist but I am entering for travel… Or the other option category is: Other Has anyone recently fill out and what did you put? thanks

  15. Just wondering if anyone has recently flown into Vancouver from US and how long did it take to get thru customs. We carryon our luggage so we will go straight to customs. On a tight timeline to get to port directly from airport. On return from port to Vancouver, can you get Covid Test at airport to fly home to US same day? Thanks
  16. Thank you for a wonderful review and the pictures. I have a few questions as we are taking this trip on June 19 and flying directly to Vancouver the day of our departure (June 19). One of my biggest questions and concerns is... our flight arrives 12:30 pm and how long did it take to go thru Customs? Is the port close to the airport? It shows 10 miles when I google but someone said it could take a 45 minutes cab ride from airport to cruise terminal, can that be right? What was the weather like as in temp wise? It looks like you didn't have any rainy weather... Were there days where you thought you packed too many warmer clothes? Any recommendations besides layer layer layer? How was the food on the Seranade of Seas? I have been on the Jewel twice and loved that ship. Was the ship in good condition? Was the entertain good? Thank you again for such a great review.
  17. This is what RC web site says We strongly recommend that fully vaccinated guests get a booster dose when they become eligible to do so. It is highly likely many destinations will soon begin to require booster doses for all eligible guests to be considered fully vaccinated. However, a booster is currently not required to be considered fully vaccinated by Royal Caribbean.
