Afterwards, Patti heads back to the cabin to do some more packing. I head to the Limelight Lounge for the 3:30pm (PG) Comedy Show starring Alex Elkin….. Comedy Host Mathew (with one “T”) gets the show going….. Alex Elkin on stage….. I enjoyed his PG show very much. I gave him 8.5 out of 10. I head back to the cabin to relax before dinner. Looking outside I could see that it is now raining….. We decide to just head up to the Lido Marketplace for dinner tonight. Patti had some pasta and chicken….. I made myself a salad and sampled a little bit of everything from the buffet….. We went down to the Amari Bar where we had a couple of drinks with Zora, before calling it a night. I had played blackjack for an hour or so and was down a couple of hundred, so I left and went up to the Seafood Shack for some Asian food….. I took my food over to the Burano Pool Bar, and much to my surprise, Zora was working there. I had a couple of Angry Balls to wash down my lunch. Patti met me there for a drink, and then we went back to the cabin where we found today’s towel animal….. At 2pm we made our way over to the Teatro Rosso for the VIFP Diamond & Platinum Gathering….. AJ was entertaining us on the piano….. Cruise Director Joey was the master of ceremonies…… To be continued…..

Patti tried her luck with Win a Cruise Bingo which was hosted by Al, without success….. Patti made it back up to the Lido just as the Groove for St. Jude was just getting started….. To be continued…..

We head to the Teatro Rosso for “The Wave” morning show. Today the show is being hosted by Cruise Director Joey, Al from the Fun Squad, and Mark from the Playlist cast….. Afterwards, I stopped at the Lobby Bar for a couple of Bloody Marys with Valentina, and then went up to the Casino Annex to play blackjack. Patti went up to the Lido Marketplace for some breakfast. Once she finished eating, she made her way back to the Teatro Rosso, where she caught the end of the Q&A session with the Officers….. To be continued…..

Day # 20 - 10/12/23 - Fun Day at Sea # 8. We were up at 7am to a partly cloudy day. It’s still warm outside but you can feel that it’s getting cooler….. The seas are fairly calm. Here are the views from our balcony looking forward and aft as the Venezia heads back to New York….. Here are today’s Fun Times….. I head up to the Java Blue Café for my morning coffee, and then back to the cabin to work on pictures. Patti is going to get a jump on her packing. Here is a view from the bow camera, and the map channel is showing us where we’ve been and where we’re going….. To be continued…..

Tonight we have a reservation at IL Viaggio…… Here are the menus….. Here we are at IL Viaggio….. Patti started off with the insalata Caesar and the mozzarella in carrozza….. I started with the panzarotti….. We both shared a pollo parmigiana pizza. So much food! We then had our Limoncello shots…… We were in such a food coma that we took our desserts back to the cabin, where we remained for the night. The laundry that Patti sent out this morning has been done and returned….. Coming up next: Another Fun Day at sea, but it’s starting to get cooler!

Patti stops by the Lobby Bar for a drink, and then we go to the bingo pre-sales to pick up the bingo packages that we won at Deal or No Deal. Since we won two packages Patti will use one at today’s bingo, and one at tomorrow’s final bingo session. We pay $23 to upgrade the packages to Patti’s preferred level. I head to the non-smoking Casino Annex to play some blackjack. Patti heads to the Teatro Rosso for Patch’s Spook-tacular $1,000 Bingo hosted by Al….. Patti has her drink so she’s ready….. Sadly, Patti didn’t have any winners. She made her way to the non-smoking Casino Annex to play some video poker. She played for about an hour, which is a long time for her, and she wound up winning $50. I had played blackjack for almost three hours winning $250. We went back to the cabin where we found today’s towel animal….. We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out on our balcony. It was a beautiful day! To be continued….

Day # 19 - 10/11/23 - Fun Day at Sea # 7. We were up at 7am to another beautiful warm day. The seas are fairly calm….. Here are today’s Fun times…… There were not many pictures taken today, so this segment will be short and sweet. As usual, I made my way up to the Java Blue Café to get my morning coffee. I talked with Rich and the gang for a while and then came back to the cabin to work on pictures. Patti is preparing our final bags of laundry. Outside, the crew is cleaning the balconies on our deck….. Patti heads out to go have some breakfast and explore. A little after 10am, I head down to the Lobby Bar and have a few Bloody Marys with Valentina. Cruise Critic member Rhonda stops by to chat for a while. Meanwhile, Patti is up on the Lido where she sees that they are setting up for the pumpkin carving event a little later….. To be continued…..

Interesting. We'll have to go back so Patti can get the new menu pictures! 😃

We couldn't understand what took so long. The hospital is literally a mile away.

Also want to add, have your driver stop at Drake's Seat. Awesome views from up there!

Yes it was! Take a taxi over to Magen's Bay, spend three or four hours, still gives you plenty of time to do the skyride. Well worth the trip up there!

We are heading to the Teatro Rosso for tonight’s Viva Variety Show. As we pass through the Piazza San Marco, we see Regie entertaining the crowd….. Alicia Hill is performing in the Teatro Rosso….. Up on the Lido Deck Festa Italiana is about to begin…… They have some arts and crafts….. DJ Six and Cruise Director Joey head up the fun….. There are no comedians scheduled tonight, but Quest is being held in the Limelight Lounge. I’ll leave it at that. We’re back to the cabin for the night. Coming up next: We’re heading back to New York, but we have three sea days left!

We head up to Guy’s Burger for a snack to hold us over to dinner, and head over to RoCoco for a drink. Patti tries one of their frozen ones. We then head back to the cabin to hang out until sail away. At 4pm Captain Enzo makes the announcement that due to a medical emergency, we would be sailing late. Two hours later we still haven’t sailed, but we got to witness the sun going down over St. Thomas….. The Venezia sailed away from St. Thomas a short time later. Goodbye St. Thomas, we’ll see you again in January when we sail on the Celebration with the Tribe! We decided to eat dinner at Bonsai Sushi once again…. Here we are enjoying our drinks….. I had my usual miso soup, bang-bang rolls, and beef & chicken skewers….. Patti had her salad, edamame, and California rolls….. It was another great meal. We love this place! To be continued…..

Patti continues her walk through Havensight Mall…. Patti heads back to the ship….. Patti heads back to the cabin where she finds today’s towel animal. What the heck is that? A couple more towels for Patti’s collection! Looking at the ship map channel to see where we are, and where we’ve been. Unfortunately, we know where we’re going next….. To be continued…..

At this point I head back to the ship, while Patti explores the Havensight Mall area. Patti takes these shots of the St. Thomas Skyride, and the Pirate Museum from across the street….. Patti looks up to where we have just been….. Patti is back at the Havensight Mall….. To be continued……

Patti has made it back to the bar….. I’m trying out the banana daiquiri….. We finish our drinks and head up to the skyride. If you can climb the stairs, stay to the right, to use the ramps, stay to the left….. Once we make it up to the top, we wait for the next set of cars….. We are on our way back down….. Some of these houses on the side of the hill are awesome….. To be continued…..
