  1. The Diamond level was added after the loyalty program was changed from cruises to number of days. There was no Diamond level before that! 😎
  2. We'll talk about it as we get closer to sailing. We're normally out on the open decks as Patti likes to move around and take pictures. 😎
  3. Congratulations on your first Diamond event. Did you realize that you could have brought AG and BG with you as the invitations say "and guest". Or maybe you knew that and decided against it. 😁
  4. Lady Liberty will be on the Starboard side as we sail out, about a half hour after we sail. After we sail, the best views of NYC will be on the port side. After reaching lower Manhattan switch over to the starboard side for Ellis island and the statue. 15 minutes after passing the statue we will sail under the Verrazano bridge. A fantastic sail away! 😎
  5. We're here!!! As always, we are so going to enjoy this one!! 😁
  6. We always seem to break even or a little bit ahead. We buy the 3 for $50. On our last cruise on the Celebration we won two $30 casino cash, and the $25 bingo package. We also like the chances to be the onstage contestant. I was chosen last year on the Legend. Wound up winning just $20. Got greedy! 😀
  7. We actually book early so we can snag one of these cabins since there are only a few of them. On this class of ships, they are priced the same as a regular balcony. You lose the couch, but you get double the balcony. We just grabbed cabin # 6450 for both legs of a B2B on the Valor in April 2025!
  8. Nope! I would never swap a "bowling alley" balcony for a regular balcony. You made the right choice.
  9. Enjoying your review! Brings back some good memories! 😎
  10. We were in cabin 5218 and also didn't hear any noise from the Havana Bar. These cabins give you the best bang for the buck! 😀
  11. We are doing the 15 day Journeys cruise the end of September on the Venezia with a stop in Barbados, and no excursions listed as yet. Looked at some independent sites and saw nothing that interests us. Hope Carnival comes through with something. 😎
  12. I got you. I'm not a smoke lover myself, and I never thought it was bad on a Spirit Class ships, and now that the casino bar has been removed, I'm guessing it will be even better. 😎
  13. You've been on Spirit Class ships before and they got rid of the casino bar, so don't know what your apprehension is.
  14. Thanks for pointing it out! He also got a quick glimpse of Patti and I at the Tides Bar at the 6:40 mark.
  15. I don't think Deal or No Deal, or Bingo fall under the casino. Bingo winners are not paid cash, but as a credit to the Sail & Sign account which would be handled by Guest Services. The casino only handles the $30 casino cash for three matches. All other Deal or No Deal cash prizes are paid as credits to the Sail & Sign card.
  16. The $50 prize isn't casino cash, it's a credit to your Sail & Sign account.
  17. You're slipping. You gave them a bit of sunglasses as well. 😁
  18. Just to be clear, you had 4 matches in one of the two games, and the $50 wasn't credited to you Sail & Sign account by the next day?
  19. Welcome home Greg! It was great having you in the great state of New Jersey, even if it was only for a couple of hours. 😎
