  1. Leaving tomorrow on the Breeze and have FTTF. How early can we get to the port? Is 10:30 too early? Too late? We want to get our money's worth, so want to board as early as possible!

  2. We leave on Saturday to board the Carnival Breeze. We have planned to just ride the "bus" to seven mile beach, but have never done this before.

    1. Can you give me super detailed directions on how to get to the buses? Give as many details as you can!! My husband gets duet nervous when I don't know where I'm going!

    2. Where should we have the driver let us off at 7 mile beach? There are 6 of us - 4 adults, 2 kids ages 8 and 2. Not drinkers. Just want white, soft sand and shallow, calm water. Clean restrooms and maybe some good food.

    3. How much will we pay for bus?

  3. Hi carlissaandisaacsmommy :)

My wife & I will be on deck 7 aboard the Breeze as well.

Just in case the laundry room is full when you go to use it, here is a list of all the self service laundry rooms & ironing rooms aboard.

    Have a terrific day!

    :)

Perfect. Thanks for the info!! I must be sick in the head or something, but I enjoy doing laundry so I usually do 2 loads per cruise so we come home with all clean clothes!

  4. Will be in Cozumel in a couple weeks. have done Playa Mia and Dolphinaris before. This time would like something more relaxing. Will be my husband and I, my parents, and our 8 year old and 2 year old. Kids could care less about water toys. They are perfectly happy with sand and saltwater ;) We aren't big drinkers but do like to eat. It looks like for the 6 of us, would be $70 each way for taxi to Papito's. Not sure about how much to Nachi Cocom. My mom said the water at Playa Mia looked "murky" compared to what she remembered it looking like the last time she was there before that. That time, they did a Jeep excursion through the ship, so I'm thinking she was probably farther south than Playa Mia is at Punta Sur.

Which one should we choose and why? Also, is there a shallow end to the pool at NC?

  5. We have a 2 year old and 8 year old and both kids LOVE Camp Carnival. Our 2 year old would wake up begging to "go to my party". That's what he called Camp Carnival. The counselors have always been amazing. We definitely don't leave them in there all day because it's their vacation, too. But a couple hours in the morning and a couple in the evening provided sanity for ALL of us!!

We will be trying Camp Ocean on the Breeze in 2 weeks!!

  6. We were thinking about ordering one of the Seuss At Sea room decoration packages for our upcoming Breeze cruise in a few weeks. If we do, when do they decorate it? Will it be before we get to the room the first time (we have FTTF) or later in the evening?

  7. Does anyone have a copy of this that they can e-mail to both me and Samara? - Neither one of us got in our e-mail and our kids are very anxious!

    THANK YOU!

Oh no!!! I'm so sorry that it never went through. My email server may have kicked it out because the file size was too large. I just tried it again and reduced the file size. Let me know if it doesn't come. Sorry again!

  8. Use the bucket with ice and put it in the refrigerator.

Curious, how are you safely transporting the medication between home and getting to the cabin during that time span?

The plan is to take it in an insulated bag with ice packs, but of course the ice packs won't stay cool all week. This medicine also comes in pill, but she isn't able to swallow pills so if we use the pills, we crush them and just hope that she gets it all. We will take enough pills to last the week just in case the medicine gets spilled or ruined for some reason.

  9. Send an email to special needs department. They'll deliver a medi-cooler to your stateroom. It'll keep the meds cooler than the fridge. Or the infirmary can hold it for you if they're out of medi-coolers.

How do I email the special needs department and how far in advance should I do so? Thanks!

  10. I know from experience that the mini-fridges do not keep things very cold...they keep things cool at best. It's never been an issue because we would just keep the bottle or sippy cup of milk in the ice bucket. But now my daughter takes a seizure medicine that MUST be refrigerated, so cool isn't good enough. What should we do?

  11. This is for 3/7/15. There are 6 of us, so I think it may be cheaper/easier to rent a car at FLL. That way we can go to the store, dinner, anything we want. Next morning, we will drop my parents, kids, and luggage off at POM. Then hubby and I will take rental to MIA and then ride the free rental car shuttle from there back to POM. We did this at MCO/Port Canaveral in 2013 and it worked well. What do you think?
