This is the only picture I could find. They are smaller than a regular crib but taller than a pack n play. They have slanted sides so we brought our son's "birdie machine" to hook on the side. He enjoyed the fact that he could still have his birdies on the ceiling and music playing - just like home.

  2. Since nothing will be done to the waterpark area on the Freedom during this dry dock, can anyone share some pics or tell me what it's like now? Some places I look say it has one of the large yellow twister slides. Other places look like it just has the blue open slide. Is there a kiddie area for little ones to splash or a kiddie pool?

  3. Thanks, everyone!!! What if I add a 5 day from Tampa on the Carnival Paradise - Grand Cayman and Cozumel? Would you still say #1? Also, with the upgrades that are coming to Freedom, does anyone know if that will include more waterworks stuff? Our 2 year old enjoyed the splash park stuff and tiny slide when we were on the Dream in October.

  4. Help us choose our next cruise. We have always done 7 day cruises, but it isn't feasible this time with our schedules. So here are the 2 we are looking at. Which one would you choose and why? (we are a family of 4 - kids ages 7 and 2)

    1. 5 day leaving out of Fort Lauderdale on Carnival Freedom (in dry dock now but will be ready when we cruise in August). Going to Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman.

    2. 5 day leaving out of New Orleans on Carnival Elation. Going to Cozumel (been once with kids and went to a resort for the day that time) and Progresso.

  5. We specifically requested Tex for our private Best of Roatan tour this week after seeing his name a lot on these boards. He was WONDERFUL!!!!! He took us to so many great places. He even took us by his house and let us walk out on the dock behind his place to see them training dolphins and see people swimming with them. You could tell he has kids because he was so caring and patient with our children. He let us take our time at all the stops and never made us feel rushed. When we go back next time, we will definitely request him again.
