  1. Talking about hairdryers made me think about something. On the Breeze, is the outlet in the bathroom a 3 prong so I can use my hairdryer in there? I hate having to plug it up in the room because that's the only 3 prong outlet, especially when my kiddos are trying to nap.

I thought about taking one of those outlet converters and plugging it in in the bathroom so I can use my hairdryer in there!

  2. I would love to see any pictures that you have from room 6460. I just booked it for my parents for this coming March. My husband, kids, and I will be down the hall in 6398. But the L shaped rooms looked interesting and I'm sure my parents will love looking out!

  3. Awesome!! Thanks so much for getting some pics for us!! I'm hoping that there are plenty of windows in Camp Carnival/Ocean on this ship. We were on the Legend in August and our daughter got a bad headache and sea sick almost every night in Camp Carnival. I'm not sure if it was because it was so far forward on the ship or because it lacked windows so she felt claustrophobic - or a combo of both. I'm looking forward to our March cruise on the breeze and hope it's a much better experience! Enjoy your cruise and I can't wait to see pics :)

  4. We are wanting to schedule a cruise in April and "give" it to my parents and kids as a Christmas surprise. We are relatively sure that my husband will be able to get the week off in April, but it's possible that we will have to reschedule to another date. I am planning to book with the Early Saver rate. IF we have to change the date. (NOT CANCEL), will we have to pay a cancellation or change fee?

  5. We noticed A LOT more movement on the Legend this summer than we did on the Dream last fall. Is that because they were different sized boats? Camp Carnival was on deck 5 forward on the Legend and my daughter got sick almost every time she went. I'm hoping that it will be better on the Breeze. Camp Carnival is on deck 11, but is mid ship and looks like it has a lot of windows which I think (hope) will help her.

  6. I think everyone has their own opinion on this, but will we feel less motion in our cabin if we are higher up on the ship? We always stay mid ship in a balcony cabin and have normally stayed on floor 8 or 9. But on this next cruise, we can get a balcony cabin on the 11th deck for the same price as deck 9 (or 6).

  7. Trying to decide which cruise to do and the only difference in the 2 is the Jamaica port. We are a family of 6...me, my husband, 2 & 7 year old kids, and my parents. We usually like to see some of the city and go to a local restaurant and visit the beach. Not really interested in hiking. Which port would you recommend and why?

  8. And why? This is our 4th cruise. The 2 of us (age 30's), my parents (late 50's) and 2 kids (8 & 3). Not big drinkers. Oldest child usually gets seasick 1 or 2 nights (at least she did on the legend and dream)

  9. We want to eat at Pancho's Backyard. It is in the Los Cinco Soles mall. We will be on an early excursion through Carnival to Dolphinaris. How close is it to Dolphinaris or to the port?

  10. So this may be a stupid question. We will have a collapsible stroller with us because we definitely need it in other ports and if/when we do the lido buffet on board. If we decide to do the chair lift, will we have room to hold it with us?

  11. We will be in Mohogany Bay next week. I was thinking about doing Tabyana Beach, but since the "man made" beach is so close, I am thinking we will just stay at Mohogany Bay beach. I see on the Carnival website that we can rent a clamshell ahead of time for $39.99 for 2 people. I think we will do this for my husband and I.

    - We have a 7 year old and a 2 year old. Since they don't need their own clamshell, should we just buy their chairlift ticket when we get there?

    - Will both kids be $12/each for their chair lift ticket? If so, it may be better just to pay the extra $15 for the "excursion" through Carnival and let them have their own chairs. What do you think?

    - I saw somewhere that a child has to be 32 inches to ride the chairlift. Our 2 year old is barely 32 inches. Are they really picky about that? If he's barely under 32, will they still let him ride?

  12. We sail this coming Sunday. I wanted FTTF, but they were all sold out when I looked last week. Someone on here advised is to email the shore excursions folks, so I did (shoreexcursions@carnival.com). That was last Friday. On Monday morning I got an email telling me to hurry and book because they just opened up 5 more spots. Try it - it's worth a shot!

  13. I've seen a lot more posts about Chankanaab, but Dolphinarius is cheaper and includes food/drinks. We don't really care about beach time or snorkeling. We just want a good dolphin experience for our 7 year old and 2 year old. Which one would you recommend and why?

  14. It worked!!! I emailed them. They just emailed back and said they opened up 5 more slots. I jumped online and reserves it.

How early can we get to port and get on the ship? We are staying at the Westin - about 4 or 5 blocks from port.
