Hello,
I know the bathrooms contain shower gel and shampoo/conditioner, but do they also provide some kind of hand lotion? Hand soap at the sink?
Thanks,
Becky

Thanks for the info - I was debating bringing some kind of salty snack with me, so will now for sure!

Hello,
My first cruise on the Legend is fast approaching, and I'm wondering what is sold in the Cherry on Top. Specifically, are there any salty snacks like Pringles etc?
I haven't been on a Carnival ship for a while and don't usually look for sweet treats, so have never checked out the shop contents.
Thanks!

I asked this same question a few weeks ago as I'd like to use OBC to pay for the Plus package if possible. Many people replied indicating that you can definitely add the Plus (or Premier) package when you board, although the price could change in the interim. At the moment, the price is the same whether pre-purchased or bought on board.

I didn't have any other filters at the time, however the cruise I was trying to find has been intermittently sold out, so maybe that was the issue. The Legend is showing again now.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Hello,
The Legend is not showing in the list of ships on the Carnival site to 'plan' a cruise at the moment...does anyone have any idea why that might be? It seems that all the other ships are still listed.
Thanks!

1st sea day - packing my big boy drawstring shorts ...
You guys are so funny, this is now a hilarious string!

Thanks so much for all the info - I'll keep my fingers crossed that the price of Plus doesn't change dramatically and wait until I'm on board to buy it.
Thanks!

Hello,
The Plus package costs US$60 per day when purchased pre-cruise...does anyone currently on board know if the price is the same when purchased on board?
(I want to use OBC to pay for Plus, but am hoping the price is the same!)
Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the great info, I appreciate it!
I'm going to start a new thread to try and catch the attention of someone on board now in the hope of finding out the price for Plus if purchased on board.

Hello,
Is it possible to add Princess Plus to my cruise when I get on board, and use Onboard credit to pay for it?
I'm guessing that if I add the Plus program when I board it will get added to my onboard account, and therefore would be partially offset by my onboard credit.
Or...does adding the Plus program when on board work like buying Future Cruise Deposits, ie those get billed directly to your credit card at the time of purchase.
I've booked the Plus program a few times, but always included it in my initial booking. Does anyone know if it costs more if you wait to add it when you board? (assuming there is no change to the pricing between booking and boarding)
Thanks!

I haven't taken this tour...yet, but will be doing a similar one in October on a Carnival cruise.
However, I was on a Med cruise last June and went on this tour that was organized by another cruiser - Fifty Shades of Lemon All Inclusive (italytoursharing.com) .
Although on the pricey side (we had eight people booked which was the sweet point for pricing), it was an excellent tour overall. We didn't go to a large lemon grove, just a smaller one that was part of the private garden of the chef/owner of the restaurant where we had lunch that day. The lunch was fantastic. Each course incorporated lemon in some way. We made a lemon liquor type drink, the setting of the restaurant was high up overlooking the sea. Prior to lunch we stopped in Ravello for about an hour, and then in Amalfi for about an hour (some nice shopping opportunities there, including Lemoncello). I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!
Enjoy whatever you decide to do!

I was on the Emerald Princess for 14 days recently, in an inside cabin that was right behind the aft elevators. (The Emerald and Caribbean are almost identical in size) I never felt/heard any elevator noise. Once in the blue moon I'd hear the 'ding' announcing an arriving elevator, but that noise came in through the grill on my door, not through the wall.
What I will add however is that I heard much more engine noise than I've ever noticed previously, particularly as we'd be docking in the morning. I'd be woken by what I assume was the thrusters. But didn't stop me nodding off again!

I've been able to book excursions on board that were showing as sold out prior to boarding. I think they hold back a few tickets per excursion for this purpose.

If you know which future cruise you are interested in prior to boarding, buy a minimum of one Future Cruise Deposit per person the first day of your current cruise, wait for the email advising the transaction has been processed (usually within a day or so), then have the chat with the future cruise rep on board. Assuming the price is the same as you'd researched, you may decide to use one of your new FCD's (each) to book the new cruise and receive the FCD OBC, and then transfer the booking to your preferred TA when back home. For possibly more OBC or a better price or other benefit(s)...
Just my 2 cents worth!

A different reason but similar result:
I was recuperating from a knee injury and brought a hot water bottle on my cruise...I explained the situation to my room steward who checked with his supervisor, and voila! I received a kettle.

I have a different kind of observation regarding the Princess transfers from Victoria Coach Station.
I've used the transfer service from Heathrow a number of times - sometimes having flown in that day, and sometimes having been in London for a while and taking the tube back to Heathrow to get on the transfer.
Last November I was again in London pre-cruise for a few days and for the first time ever I booked the transfer from Victoria instead of Heathrow. Victoria was just 3 tube stops from my hotel. This seemed a no brainer compared to the approx 45 minute ride on the Picadilly line from my hotel to Heathrow.
However, I will not book a transfer from Victoria in the future...nothing against the station itself. But I'm sensitive to motion sickness and was starting to feel green (despite taking Bonine ahead of time) as a result of the roughly 45 minute ride through what felt like twisty-turny streets in London before we connected with the motorway. (It was maybe only 30 minutes, but felt like forever to me!) I was still queasy when we arrived in Southampton.
When we leave from Heathrow we are on the motorway in minutes, and have a smooth ride the whole way down; at least that's been my experience.

Hello,
I'm booked on a Majestic cruise next year, and just realized there is no pizza location - my favourite 'go to' for a quick lunch! Anyhow, I see there is a 'Chopsticks Noodle Bar' instead. Can anyone give me an idea of what is served in the Noodle Bar?
Thank you

We are trying to add our Carnival shareholder's benefit for our upcoming Sapphire Princess cruise for February. When I sent in my info and proof of stock ownership, which was all that we needed to do from the past, I got an email from Carnival that says this:
Thank you for your request for an onboard credit as part of the Carnival Corp & plc. Shareholder Benefit Program.Carnival Corp is implementing a more automated onboard credit request process in partnership with Stockperks. Please go to www.stockperks.com/carnivalcorp for all details about the program and how to apply for your onboard credit via the Stockperks app.We followed the instruction once we have downloaded the app. But somehow, it does not have our Stock broker's name (a major one in Canada) listed as one of the choices on their list. So now we are have difficulty trying to have our shareholder's benefit added. Has anyone experienced this?
This is very annoying that they would change the procedure, it used to be no problem and now we have a major issue. Any suggestions? Thanks.I did this about a week ago, so don't remember all the steps...however I remember that I was able to input my investment firm name into a blank field. It worked as I got an acknowledgement type email from Stockperks. And today I went into the site, selected Carnival Corp, then scrolled down to select Princess, then entered my booking number etc. So far so good! Site says it will take up to 5 days to process.
Good luck!

I don't know when this cruise was released to the market and don't know how to figure that out. This was my first HAL cruise so I doubt I have any loyalty...?
The new cruise is a transatlantic in April 2025.

Thanks to everyone for the replies so far!
As additional background, I was on the Rotterdam in Sept (a few weeks ago), bought the Future Cruise Deposits while on board, then a few days later we booked the new cruise. Prior to boarding we'd already discussed a potential future HAL cruise, so knew the pricing. We've never booked while on board before on any cruise line.
Anyhow, we booked a 15 day (Oceanview cabin) cruise using a Future Cruise Deposit and have each received OBC of US$262.50. I'm trying to figure out the breakdown - how much OBC for using the FCD, and how much for the booking promotion. (We occasionally re-fare our cruise depending on the lost/gained benefits in addition to hopeful price drops)
I tried the Princess Chat, but was told to contact my TA as we'd transferred the booking to our TA when we got home. Our TA will investigate for us but is legitimately occupied in the short term. So I thought I'd see what I could figure out with your collective assistance!
