We have Benihana's here and you get a free dinner on your birthday, I think you have to pay for one meal to qualify but I've never done it.  Now my step-son goes on his Bday every year because if it's free he's first in line, kinda like his mother.

Didn't know we still had one around these parts.

Food allergies have been keeping me away. So tried the Virgin Voyages version last year. It was fun and the food was excellent.

So we are taking him for his one year anniversary of better days and better health. We have also joined the VV sept 2025 cruise group.  So new adventures ahead.  Just too far ahead.  Need something this summer. Too much time off accrued and no plans = no fun!

I'm sooooo happy to hear you are taking you dad for an anniversary celebration.

It always make my heart lighter to have a cruise on the books. (or two 😉)

Yep, that was my day yesterday which completely changed any plans I had while I frantically tried to find insurance.  Finally got it resolved at about 9:45 last night.

I realize everyone is getting silly with it, including myself. Someone mentioned it’s fanfic which is not far off. I think we all know we’re not doing it as well as Sid, which is part of the inside joke. 
 

Sid has a brand. That’s really what it comes to. He’s established it in honest and often humorous terms. We can imagine the kinds of hijinks he might run into, the ups and downs. We’re stretching it into an imaginary Sid tale that never was.
 

We enjoy Sid and we are actually trying to let him know he’s made a lasting and well-loved impression on us all.

We got an "upgrade" offer from Carnival for our 4 day Mexico cruise. Aft Extended was an option so I did it. We've never sailed in an aft room before, so I figured may as well try it out. and if it sucks it's only a 3 day cruise. The room layout is fine and also it has rooms above and below, so here's hoping.
