New to Princess--Cabin size question

Greetings all,

 

After many Celebrity cruises and several on Royal Caribbean, we've signed up for Regal Princess cruise this winter. Does the published 222 square footage of an BF cabin include the 42 square foot balcony?

The D1 and D2 cabins on Royal Caribbean seem to be about the equivalent of the Mini-suites on Princess.....so a regular balcony cabin on Princess will feel much smaller (in my opinion). There is just one small upholstered chair and a desk chair on Princess.....where there is actually enough room for a sofa on the S-class ships on Celebrity -- which I think are about 20-25 sq ft larger in size.
