Sugar67 Posted April 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2010 Which would be the best 4K category rooms on the Miracle, by best I mean the ones with the least obstructed views. Thanks

SkyMaster Posted April 25, 2010 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2010 you want to be as close to the dividers between the lifeboats as possible. That's true, but you can't tell for sure by looking at the deck plan. I'm booked in a 4K aboard Miracle, and choose cabin 4141, because it "appears" to be the one that's between the lifeboats. It looks like 4122, or 4123 are exactly between boats, as are 4148 and 4149. Those weren't available when I booked my cruise. I've been in 4115 some time ago, and it wasn't bad, but not exactly between the boats. I don't sail "Miracle" again until November, but I LOVE the cat 4K cabins. They are truly a BARGAIN! CMM Posted April 26, 2010 #6 Share Posted April 26, 2010 we had 4141 & 4143 on the Legend. 4143 was blocked by an orange lifeboat 4141 was between lifeboats so had a decent partial view Both rooms were quiet
CeleBrat Posted April 26, 2010 #7 Share Posted April 26, 2010 We just sailed in 4150, which I thought was unobstructed. Boy was I wrong! We couldn't have been more I the middle of a lifeboat had I tried! CelelBrat
aussie2324 Posted April 26, 2010 #8 Share Posted April 26, 2010 These cabins are between the lifeboats 4122,4123,4140,4141,4148,4149,4196,4197 the cabin you have booked 4195 which is obstructed by a life boat. I posted these cabins before and was told by previous cruises that they are between the lifeboats.;) I am sure you can call your TA and change to the cabin next door 4197 unless you need a 4 berth but there does not appear to be any between lifeboats:(

lakedad Posted April 27, 2010 #10 Share Posted April 27, 2010 We were in 4132 and it is about the best it could be. Our friend was next door in 4130 and not quite as good although from the deck plans it looks like it would be the same or better. Our kids were in 4134 and it has a lifeboat right in front of it as the deck plan shows. We loved these cabins for the price. Rick
CruiseHobbit Posted April 27, 2010 #11 Share Posted April 27, 2010 We were in 4137, and 4139 last time. One thing to be aware of, is that starting at 4137(midship), going back, there is a platform(metal walkway) going along the outside of the cabin, used for maintenance. The rooms toward the front of the ship did not look like they had this. BTW... 4137 was completly obstructed. It was still nice to get some fresh air. You could see down to the water, and got light inside the room. Our children were in 4139, which had a better view between lifeboats. 4141 would have had the best view, but it was already taken when I booked. SummerXU Posted April 27, 2010 #12 Share Posted April 27, 2010 I booked 4123 on the Legend based on the deck plans. It appears to be right between two lifeboats, so I hope those deck plans are accurate!

I know this cruise probably seems like ancient history by now, but did you happen to take any pics of your cabin on Legend? Thanks! :)

For the pricw we paid it should be better than an insdie cabin ;)I would be so thankful if you could put a few picture on here :D 4150 will be completely blocked by the lifeboats. There are only a few rooms that are between lifeboats. However, the doors will still allow some sunlight through, and you still get fresh air. We were in 4130. We thought we might get a little bit of an angled view between the lifeboats, but that was blocked. Here are my pictures. Looking straight out the French doors Looking to the left, where we were hoping for an angled opening between boats Looking down

crisrn2003 Posted August 10, 2013 #20 Share Posted August 10, 2013 Thanks so much for posting these pics! This is the room we've chosen for our next cruise. We will be cruising Alaska, so not too terribly concerned about having a balcony, but did want the sunlight. A view would be nice, but not necessary. Anyway, thank you bunches!! crusinpsychRN Posted August 11, 2013 #22 Share Posted August 11, 2013 Go to cruisedeckplans, find Carnival, find Miracle, go to deck 4. Some cabins have pics. Some show the four bed arrangement. Maintenance men do work out there at times. Keep drape pulled if you don't want a surprise!
crusinpsychRN Posted August 11, 2013 #23 Share Posted August 11, 2013 4194 and 4195 are quads but not quite in between. Port side was to the port on all but one cruise when I was on the Legend. The more forward quads are looking right at the lifeboat. We had a spectacular lightning storm in Belize and I had a good view in between lifeboats. Then the sun came out and it was a beautiful day!
