Hi All

This is my first post.....

We are about to book a cruise on the above ship

Trouble is, the staterooms we have been offered all have upper berths!

We are looking at 2b class on deck 6

Can anyone tell me where the upper berth is located & also will it spoil the look & size of the room?

Our last 2 cruises were concierge class so we haven't seen a room with an upper berth

We also wont be using it!

Grateful for advice

Thanks :D

Welcome to Cruise Critic, Chrisclaire! On other ships, the upper berths either retract into the ceiling or fold away against the cabin side. Neither will create a visual problem for you.

They are folded up during the day so they are not in the way, they just fold into the wall. When you come back from dinner the steward will have it folded down and ready to sleep in. Since you are not using it just tell the steward and it will be as if you never saw it during the week.

The bunk will come down from the ceiling, so if you aren't going to need it, you won't even know it is there. EM

This is an OV cabin with two upper bunks:
