San Francisco hotel

We decided we will stay the night in San Francisco, November 12th so we won't be fighting Monday morning Bay Area traffic. We have a cheap place set up for our parking. Any suggestions for an inexpensive hotel preferably with breakfast and no charge to park for the night.

We were thinking maybe near the pier, but those hotels look pricey.

Thanks.

Of late, we've been staying at the Cow Hollow Motor Inn...mostly because it's within a couple of blocks of our daughter's apartment...and we like it...room is spacious...and they offer FREE parking. Looks like their rate for November 12 is $188...

But they also have some sister properties...I don't know if they are as nice as this one, but, I assume they would have to have most of the same standards...I note that the Lombard Inn and the Chelsea Inn have rates of just $118 that night...

...and the Columbus Inn--very near Fisherman's Wharf shows an "Internet rate" of $148...

None of these offer a free breakfast...but many options to eat nearby...

For San Francisco, the rates are quite reasonable and these hotels are all in a decent area of town--mostly in the Marina District...just West of Fisherman's Wharf. Since you'll have your car with you, you can use it--knowing you'll have available free parking every time you return to the hotel...

Good luck...

There's a Holiday Inn Express at Fisherman's Wharf (breakfast included) that's showing a rate of $147 on TripAdvisor. However, I don't know whether or not they charge for overnight parking.

Yes it looks like they do charge for parking.

Well we decided to go the cheap rate and found the Travelodge by the airport for $70 total and no cost for parking. We will eat down the road at IHOP.

Thank you,

Jessica
