TJMK Posted September 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Read an article earlier that Key West is officially open for business 10/1 and are already accepting tourists!
fin Posted September 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Cruise ships have already visited. The Southernmost Point webcam shows some visitors, but nothing like the long lines of folks who lined up there for photos pre-storm.
easyboy Posted September 29, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Read on previous thread that Key West will be "open for business" on your port call. Sent from my iPad using Forums
parrotfeathers Posted September 29, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 29, 2017 I'll be on board Enchantment next week and Key West came back as a port. Unfortunately thunderstorms are also predicted but hopefully it won't be too bad.
keywester33 Posted September 29, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Our cruise port is open. Both trolley companies and the Conch Train are open. Most museums and downtown attractions are open. It will take more time to get the beaches in shape, so there is really no need to stray too far. I would skip any golf cart of scooter rentals for a couple more weeks as our streets off Duval have a lot of debris and many parking places are full of debris. I would walk, use the trolleys, Uber or taxi, or take the free Duval Loop bus if it's running when you are here. cb at sea Posted September 29, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 29, 2017 There are no "good" beaches in KW, anyway...you don't go to KW for beaches!
