remaxlu Posted December 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2017 Wondering if the duty free shop at the Panamerican Pier is back in business. I’d like to pick up a few bottles of wine before boarding the adventure in February. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

EatonDoolittle Posted December 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2017 Are they equipped to accept credit? Or cash only? Thanks! Credit card is fine - just checked my last month's statement to confirm. There is a small sundries shop next door (soda, water, snacks, etc) that I'm not sure about. I bought a few sodas at the airport gift shop on my way in and paid dearly, but they took Visa as well.

MartinsCruise Posted December 27, 2017 #6 Share Posted December 27, 2017 Do they sell water by the case or half case?
MEcruzr Posted December 30, 2017 #7 Share Posted December 30, 2017 Do they sell water by the case or half case? Bottled water in PR is very expensive right now. It's probably cheaper on the ship!

mollyeilis Posted May 19, 2018 #9 Share Posted May 19, 2018 Where is the duty free store located? And what is the name? Unless you go through security and checkin with your eyes closed you literally can not miss it. I don’t know the name but it is literally right there. Rare orville99 Posted May 20, 2018 #11 Share Posted May 20, 2018 Can you get to it if your ship is doing a port stop in San Juan? We're coming in on Oasis and we're looking for a store we could get to to buy liquor.

Port stops are almost always made at the Old San Juan piers. not the Pan American Pier, which is normally used for embarkation/disembarkation on Royal Caribbean cruises. This. Plus, doesn’t RCL policy prohibit bringing on alcohol in ports? https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/onboard-alcohol-guest-policy

It gets delivered to your stateroom on the last evening.
starrcards Posted June 4, 2018 #15 Share Posted June 4, 2018 Wine shop was on the left right past security (at least pre hurricane). Prices were better at CVS or Walgreens with larger selection.
