Ethel78 Posted January 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2018 How do you carry on your beverages?
Hflors Posted January 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2018 I have never "carried on" any beverage. I always take 2 cases of ginger ale and wrap them in bubble wrap. Put them in one of my suitcases and send them with my other luggage. They arrive just like the rest of my luggage.
Rare *Miss G* Posted January 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2018 I use the wine bottle bags I get from Wegmans.
Rare *Miss G* Posted January 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2018 Wait a minute. What kind of beverages are you talking about? I only carry on wine. Have seen people putting cases of water through the scanner though.
Krazy Kruizers Posted January 8, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2018 You didn't say what kind of beverages.
Rare kazu Posted January 8, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 8, 2018 Technically, it doesn't matter as all beverages are supposed to be carried on. I have put them in my carry on suitcase that rolls and also used the wine carrier from Total Wine that holds 6 bottles nicely. Works well whether it's wine or water ;)

3Colt Posted February 6, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 6, 2018 We are going to try to do 7 days Alaska cruise (and 7 days land) with only carry-on bags - no checked bags. We always travel light. We fly at the pointy end of the planes with just carry-on bags, and very rarely have a checked bag. We are non-alcoholic drinkers, and prefer bottled water. We are thinking of buying 2 pack of 6x1.5l water bottles and checking them through to our cabin. Do they have to be packed inside something? Or, can we just stick a label with our names and cabin number, and they will be delivered to our cabin? Thanks for any advice.

However, you will see that some people do check them inside suitcases w/ the porters.
