swanseajack Posted September 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2009 Hi, I am planning to catch the 9 a.m Salem Ferry from Long Wharf North when I come to Boston next month. Can anyone tell me if this is walkable or are there taxis at the cruise terminal - and how far to Long Wharf, how long it takes by cab, approx how much? Thank you! (I am leaving the broomstick at home this time).

138east Posted September 3, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2009 The taxi fare calculator says about $11, so figure on $15 tops. Distance is 2 miles. Should not be more than 15-20 between 8 and 9 am.
disneykins Posted September 7, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2009 I'm an expat Swan living in Canada. Heading to Boston for a cruise end of October. When are you going to be there? Small world, eh? I'm from Landore in the days of Ivor Allchurch. Tony
