We have been in veranda rooms on Carnival and NCL. First time on Celebrity Millenium July 2010. How is the room size compared to the other ships? square footage is not my forte. Carnival was definitley larger then NCL. Does anyone know we are 4 to a room. Thanks

Standard cabins on Millennium class ships are pretty small. Probably about average for all ships. I have found that Holland America has some of the bigger standard cabins.

Click on "Plan A Cruise" > "Ships" > "Millennium" > "Millennium Deck Plans"

Type your stateroom number in the box and click "go".

They are a bit small.

have good storage space though. love the nice marble on the vanity, and the wood paneling, instead of just the boring wall found on most ships.

they are some of the most comfertable standard cabin in the cruise indstry.

We had three of us in a balcony room on the Millenium, and 4 of us in a balcony room on the NCL Sun. Both rooms had about the same sq. footage...but the Millenium DEFINITELY hands down had more storage! Plus on the MIllenium it was easier to get out onto the balcony with the couch out for the 3-4 person, vs. having to climb completely over it on the Sun.

Look at your deck plans and find the sq. footage....compare the number to the sq. footage of your past cabins. If it's smaller than what you've had....don't pack alot...it will be tight!
