At Pier

We want to do a couple things at Grand Cayman (Stingray tour, rum cake store, hell, rumpoint and 7 mile beach) and understand time is limited.

Do you have time to do anything after the stingray tour? Since I dont think they all are possible.

Also is it worth booking a car if we want to do these and are already thinking of the stingray tour?

Thank you.

That's more than a couple of things. IMO you are trying to do too much. If you are certain you are doing Stingray City, then I'm pretty sure you won't have time for rum point and renting a car would not be a good value IMO. You'll have time to do Stingray City, a short stop somewhere on 7 mile and a quick stop to get a rum cake.

Unless you think pictures of sharp rocks and a visit to a small post office/gift store is something that excites you, skip the visit to hell.

If you are doing an excursion to Stingray City, you won't have time for Rum Point unless it's one of the excursions that includes a stop there. It's a 45 minute drive each way to Rum Point, so renting a car and heading there tends to be an all day activity.

If it is one of the Stingray City excursions that stops at Rum Point, you likely won't have time for a stop at Seven Mile Beach or Hell. You might be able to squeeze in a stop for rum cakes at one of the stores near the pier.

With a regular (non-Rum Point) Stingray City excursion, you can usually ask the driver of your transportation back to the pier to drop you off at Seven Mile Beach instead. Then you could spend a little while there before grabbing a taxi back to the pier.

Unless your goal is to drive around the island and explore, or to visit Rum Point, you don't need to rent a car. You'd likely find it more of an inconvenience than anything else...

We always rent a car. Last time my wife and I did the Butterfly Farm, Turtle Farm and stopped by the beach for about an hour.

On previous trips we booked SRC on our own. We followed the Charter Co to the boat in our car. Did SRC. From there we went to the Turtle Farm for abour 1 1/2 hrs, then to Hell and back to town to shop for about 1-2 hrs after dropping off the car at the airport.

Not sure how long the Rum Factory tour takes, but I think you can do it, but not sure how much time you want to spend at the beach. SRC and tour is probably possible.
