NCL L.A. Port Hotels

I know this must be elsewhere...but cannot locate it. What hotels serve the San Pedro NCL port immediate area....that you prevouus cruisers recommend?

Hi i am staying at the Crown Plaza in San Pedro. It is just a few blocks from the ship.

I have done A LOT of research on this... most prominent are the Westin and the Hyatt Regency.

I would suggest researching through Trip Advisor. Many of the reviewers for hotels in the area mentioned a pre/post cruise stay in their report.

We are staying at the Doubletree pre-cruise. They have a shuttle to the port. Check out the West Coast departures board, lots of smart experienced travelers there!! (and expert local residents)

Thanks. I looked it all over. I think I'll just rent a car at the airport, stay in my old home town of Manhattan Beach, and drive to San Pedro the next morning. Thanks for the info though.

Are any of these hotels currently offering Park and Cruise rates?

 

I'm going to go check, and will report back my findings, but if anyone here knows in advance, that would be great.

The only problem with your search results is that those hotels are in downtown LONG BEACH, while NCL leaves from SAN PEDRO. They are about six miles apart via Terminal Island, which is an industrial port area. Pick one in San Pedro.

 

 

The Long Beach hotels would be more appropriate for a cruise on Carnival, which docks in the Port of Long Beach.

Stayed one night at Doubletree at Cabrilla Marina 2 weeks ago before our cruise on the Star.

 

Great experience. Friendly staff. Beautiful hotel. Hotel bar has happy hour from about 5:30 - 7 p.m. Many locals come to the hotel in the evenings to enjoy the bar and the restaurant.

 

Good food. Great atmosphere and the view of the marina is terrific.
