Sailaway Party

This is usually refering to activites on deck as you sail away from your original port of departure.The Cruise Directors staff is usually there doing some fun stuff,and the first round of "souviner" glasses start flowing.Music etc.
I am sure it varies ship to ship,especially on the bigger ones.
Of course you can have your own sailaway party on your own...Balcony,Suite,Vicking lounge is a great view,or at one of the bars with your CC buddies...
