Dinner on the PG

Just made a reservation for the Veranda dining room .Noticed that I can't reserve more then one night. Will it be possible once on the ship?

Yes, in general it is, depending on the length of your trip and the demand. Talk to the maitre'd if you enjoy your first visit and he will work with you to fit you in if possible.

Just got off the PG on Tuesday and we ate there 3 nites. Ivan is very accommodating and will fit you in if he can. One night was Polynesian night in both dining rooms and no reservations were required in La Veranda.

I meant to book a night but havent yet ... maybe will this evening. I too find Ivan very accomodating. The only problem in La Veranda is that all the captain and officers entertaining is done there so some nights can be extra busy and hard to get in ... but Ivan will work with you.

If it's Craig instead of Ivan, he's also very accommodating. I wonder who's going to stay with the ship in January, and who is going to move to another Regent ship.

Not sure who Craig is, but Ivan is staying because he's already signed his contract. Toni, the staff captain, said most people are staying.

Craig is the other maitre'd in La Veranda. They don't work 12 months a year. Craig is very good, in fact I like him better than Ivan, don't ask why, just friendlier.

Wendy, I had the total opposite experience with Craig a couple of years ago. Last year Ivan was the maitre and he was wonderful so I am glad he will be on in November.
