That is more possible for the Spirit than for the other Silversea ships. For ships other than the Spirit, the fare for vista:verandah is 0.8:1.0 and it will be difficult (though not impossible) to give more than 20% discount. For the Spirit, the fare ratio is 0.9:1.0, some agents (cannot be named) give 12% discount on a regular basis, and more if they can form a group for a particular sailing.

Hi Meow! I'm looking at the Shadow. I'm still worried this is too good to be true, but to clarify, the agent's prices were all dramatically lower across the board, so the ratios still held, but her prices for veranda were lower than prices of other TAs for vista. I'm not really sure how much I can divulge based on the rules around here. :/

You book the price that you are happy with .

 

The next day or when you get your Silversea booking number go to their web site to check that it is exactly as you booked . After that enjoy the savings.

Thanks again BillP1... that was my plan, but before booking, I emailed to verify the price was correct and, as I feared it was a misquote (smacks forehead). The TA had priced the prior (shorter) sailing. C'est la vie.
