loan_girl Posted October 23, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2009 We are crusing with our 3 kids, 9,5, & 2 they are used to eating dinner around 7 mountain time. I am thinking then late dining would be the best if we are on an eastern zone. Thoughts or answers?
crusinmama06 Posted October 23, 2009 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2009 It depends on a couple of factors - where you are sailing, and then your captain. In our experience, ship time stayed on ET (Miami time). However, it is up to the captain to switch to local time while in port.
6rugrats Posted October 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2009 I don't think it matters which seating you choose. Your kids will adapt to whatever time it is.
cb at sea Posted October 24, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2009 You will quickly get into the "flow" of time on the ship. The ship doesn't always change times on every sailing. After a day, you'll be on the ship's time, so you should pick the time closest to when you normally eat. If your kids are in the AO program, early (main) dining is suggested, since the evening activities are scheduled around that seating.
