Tours to Tarquinia from Civitavecchia

We have visited both of those places as part of a tour/transfer from Rome to Civitavecchia. We used RomeCabs both times and were very pleased with the service. You can probably do Tarquinia on your own via either train or bus from Civitavecchia and most likely it would take about 5 or 6 total hours for a nice visit. Ceri is more tricky to get to, and while it is "cute" there really is not anything there. If you do a tour to Tarquinia, you kight want to include Valle De Marta, about 2 miles from Tarquinia, for a wine-tasting and lunch. We did that as part of our tour and it was very enjoyable. Good luck.

I just did Tarquinia from Civitavecchia on my own last month. It was very easy, about 1/2 hour on the local bus which was clean and inexpensive. There is a tourist office where you get off the bus in Tarquinia which can supply you with a map of the town and advice. It's a quiet and pleasant place with a number of nice restaurants and of course the very good Etruscan museum.
