Wonder-6 year old photo id?

Does a 6 year old need a birth certificate and a photo id for the Wonder Cruise Nov. 22, Or will just a birth certificate be enough. I have my passport but he does not.

For DCL closed loop cruises in the US, kids don't need a photo id. The birth certificate needs to be a certified copy with a raised seal.

Thank you, No one ever specified about children and I was not sure. This will be my 7th cruise but 1st with a child. I am really looking forward taking my Grandson on his 1st cruise. Thanks again

Raised seals used to be a standard on BC but that is no longer the case. Many states have gone to new digital BCs, some have holograms etc. Raised seals are good for older birth certificates but no longer the case all the time...

FYI if you are taking your grandson without his parents you will need to get a notorized letter from them saying it is ok for you to take him. I don't know the exact verbage that needs to be in the letter you will have to find out just letting you know so you don't run into any surprises...

This is a good idea but Disney is the least strict on this issue. I guess they trust the passengers on their cruises!

It is not Disney that dictates whether the letter is needed, it is the countries that you will be visiting which determine what Disney wants so this could change depending on the itinerary.. You should check with Disney and if you get the letter, you will need both parents to sign. YOu should also have a permission for medical treatment...

Disney has a manditory "Minor Authorization Form" when children are traveling with an adult that isn't the parent/legal guardian. It can be downloaded off their website. It then needs to be signed and notarized.
