Anyone do any excursions with infant?

We will have our DS age 1 and DD age 4 with us.

 

Any suggestions for Belize, Costa Rica or Panama Canal ?

 

They are all new places for us and some I hear are not safe.

For the Panama Canal, if your ship goes into the locks (a partial transit), then there's no need to do any excursion...being on the ship IS the excursion!

Panama is HOT, and all excursions last at least 5-8 hours.....too much for a baby, IMO!

 

None of the places that you'll go on your cruise are "dangerous"...at least, no more dangerous than a large city in Fla! There's "danger" everywhere, but as long as you keep your wits about you, and don't become a "stupid tourist", you'll be fine. These places DEPEND on tourism to survive....stick to the "beaten path", and you'll be fine. Book excursions in Costa Rica and Belize...you'll be with groups. No problem.

Or, stay on the ship...after all, that's what you paid for...may as well use it!

One of our ports on our cruise next month is Belize. We have a 3 year old and 6 year old and most of the excursions I saw were not child friendly. However, I did see some people say they like the zoo there. Honestly, I think that would be too hot for us because we always like to do something water related so we are staying on the ship when we are in Belize.
