jakenashleysmom Posted November 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2009 On Freedom of the Seas, is the hairdryer on the wall in the bathroom, like in many hotels, or in a drawer in the main part of the cabin? I'm wondering if I should bring my own for dd and myself to use in the cabin. Any thoughts?
M&M Hayden Posted November 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2009 We were on Freedom two weeks ago The hair dryer is in the drawer in the vanity area.
Wilda Posted November 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Ditto on Liberty (sister ship). Now that I think about it, the hair dryer is always in the vanity on all three of the different RCI ships we have sailed on;)
PrincesScuba Posted November 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2009 All Royal Caribbean ships have the hairdryer on the vanity in the cabin. (I can't speak about the Oasis, however, since I have not been on her - I know that they moved the outlets to a place UNDER the vanity, which sounds like a real PITA). jakenashleysmom Posted November 28, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Thank you all. I couldn't remember from our Mariner cruise. Too many mojitos.......
cb at sea Posted November 28, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 28, 2009 There isn't a place in the bathroom to plug a hairdryer...the only plug is at the vanity in the cabin, so all "hair" prep has to be done in the cabin, not the bathroom!
Linco711 Posted November 28, 2009 #7 Share Posted November 28, 2009 We were on Freedom two weeks agoThe hair dryer is in the drawer in the vanity area. Is it a pretty good hairdryer? Does it work well, or should I bring one from home? I usually don't like the small ones that hang in the bathrooms...don't think they work real well;) and yet would rather not pack anything thats not necessary...:)
Langley Cruisers Posted November 28, 2009 #8 Share Posted November 28, 2009 ^ Up to you but these ones have a button you have to hold down while you are using it. Bring your own if that's what you are used to.
Rare printingchick Posted November 28, 2009 #9 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Those hair dryers that turn off if you cease depressing the button are impossible from my perspective. I always bring my own.
