Should I wait to book for Caribbean 2/09

and hope that the price of balconies go down if people with reservations cancel whent the final payment is due on 12/10/09

 

All I am finding is Independance of the Seas for $599 balcony and that is a 6 day cruise, I really want 7 days but those prices are $799pp to $1000pp

 

Help

 

I am torn and worried and need to find the best deal!!

Why wait? RCI gives you the lower price if it goes down. You are already too late to have gotten lower pricing that I got back in the summer for my Voyager Feb. cruise. Those prices have now gone up again.

If you don't care about cabin location then go for it now. A balcony at that price sounds pretty good, even for a 6 day cruise.

Only on Carnvial did I have a balcony above the disco...eeek!! So I am a tad worried about that.

 

Why have prices gone so high?

 

Last year I did book in September, maybe that's it?

Nothing wrong with a $799 balcony! I did notice that the cruise before mine is showing $719 balconies.

I agree but my sister saw the $599 for 6 days and wants to jump on that...dang!!
