Things I will do on my next cruise...

1. Enjoy a balcony.

2. Go to afternoon tea.

3. Head north to Canada and not south to Mexico or the Carribean. No beach days on this trip.

4. Convince DS(15) and DD(12) to spend more time doing some activities without us, so DH and I can have some quality time together. They always want to spend all of their time with us. While I'm not complaining - I enjoy doing things as a family, I would like a little time for DH & I. They are old enough to find something to do together without us for a little while.

5. Order room service to enjoy on our balcony.

After many cruises, the last 5 on CCL, I have promised myself we will do these things every time and have not, not even on an 8-day! Next time I will:

1. order room service, besides coffee in the morning

2. go to the late-night comic show

3. go to karaoke

4. go to afternoon tea while at sea

5. have pizza

We've never done any of the above...too full or too busy! You?

Well I had my fair share of pizza for you on my last cruise in September! lol I think my BF and I ate it every day. We also got room service one night which was nice, went to two late night comedy shows (one was great, the other we left halfway through), and went to karaoke but did not participate.

Thing I will do on my next cruise:

1) Never again will I book an inside cabin. I hated not seeing the sun!

2) Induldge in the spa

3) Relax more

4) Not stress about money

5) Eat 5 soft serve cones a day instead of 4 ;)

6) Cut back on my suitcases by about 5!

7) Drink more!

8) Go on a bigger ship. One mini pool on the Imagination did not cut it.

9) Travel during a time where the ship might not be so full. It was impossible to find a table anywhere to eat, lay out etc.

10) Try and meet more people

I will try to stay up later and go the late night events...like the disco and the shows. We always pack our days full of activities, that by the time dinner rolls around...I am half asleep. I bought a bunch of "energy shots" to keep me awake!

WOW I didn't know that you could get a banana split!

I will:

-order a banana split

-get ceasar salad from the pizza place.

-stand on the Lido rail and watch the stars at night, with a DOD.

-less trivia (fun to do, but takes too much of my time)

-order something different for dinner

-get a burger

-go to the spa

Gosh, I'm getting excited just talking about it.:D

This is fun....

Next time I will:

1. Try the pizza and the hamburgers.

2. Be twenty pounds thinner to do number 1.

3. Get fruit, croissant, and coffee every AM in room.

4. Go to kareokee earlier in cruise, especially if a family and graduation time.

5. Go to spa talk early to get up on the "deals".

6. Do a bit more in port and have a BLT again in room on one of the stops...relaxing

about making every dinner even though they are fabulous...BLT's were too.

7. Take behind scenes tour...maybe cruise after next...cheers. sjn911

I have only been on three cruises and have done a lot of the aboved mentioned. Is that good or bad??

We leave in 44 days for our first 7 day here is my list for this time cruising

~ make sure the kids go to camp or find something to do. Mom and Dad just might have our own business to tend too :D

~ Not wear myslef out ao much I am one that wants to do EVERYTHING

~ sleep in a bit more one big perk of the inside cabin

~ pack less ( one swim suit and one oversized outfit per person this way it will fit the whole cruise LOL I am joking of course)

~ not obess so much about planning everything pre-cruise

~ work harder on my tan

~ breakfast in MDR sounds nice as well

Future cruises

~ book dream cruises to both Hawii and Alaska

~ book balcony room for Alaka cruise ( Im a inside girl I like to save $ on the room more for me to spend on DOD. but being able to snuggle w/dh and see the sites priceless)

~ maybe join balcony club

~ leave kids home for a nice cruise w/ DH

~ talk my extended family into joining us at some point!

What a fun board. Let's see.

On my second cruise in 52 days I want to...

Eat breakfast and lunch in the MDR.

Enjoy a new port.

Think about trying sushi, after a really bad first time experience years ago.

Get an upsell call....that I can afford....to a suite.

Not think about work or schoo.
