Things I will do on my next cruise...

Yes and yes. You just have to put weights on them and lift them. Of course if you could figure out a way to attach a DOD to the bar you would actually have a good reason to lift it.

I plan on not crying like a baby when its over.

Crying is good - it burns some of the 5 million calories gained during the cruise:D

Just once have a dessert that isn't Warm Chocolate Melting Cake.

Have the wife plan everything for the next cruise and just sit back and drink Bahama mamma's

but my last one was and this is a fun thread so I'm going to participate!

 

1. Have two drinks in my hands when we sail away.

2. Attend Meet and Greet

3. Attend afternoon tea one time..even if I'm bored with it

4. Win more drawings(won an amber pendant and gold necklace last time)

5. Win a free cruise(i wish!!)

6. Go to the karaokee every night and the piano bar..discovered it too late last time!

7. Go to more than one show

8. Try a Miami Vice and Kiss on the Lips

9. Get to know the staff/crew better.

10. Eat lunch in the main dining room whenever I can

11. Not do any excursions(our last cruise we did only excursions.. no beach time!)

 

That's all I can think of now..

For our 8th cruise we said maybe we'll try breakfast or lunch in the dining room for the first time. Maybe next cruise???

You have a interior cabin? No Problem! . . . The Funnel Deck about 2am after many drinks in the disco will suffice . . . or so I've been told:D

I'm going to add "pack less". I'd love to go with just carry-ons but I don't think I'll be able to manage that much less.

Buy and eat a slice of that heavenly-looking carrot cake from the coffee bar. I've wanted to do this each and every one of my EIGHT cruises, but never have. On one of them, I even bought the cake and brought it back to my cabin, but I couldn't muster up an appetite between all of the gorging to eat it...:eek:

Take an extra bag for all the goodies I buy.

Carry on less...but be prepared to carry more off.

On my next cruise, I plan to

-go to afternoon tea

-win a ship on a stick (12ish Carnival cruises, and still haven't won 1!)

-actually wear all the clothes and shoes I take with me

-get more than a toe into the pool

-order 2 appetizers instead of 1 starter and 1 salad

-find a way to stay on the ship for another week without them knowing

Take a picture of DD with that crazy carnival hat on her head

Eat at the specialty restaurant

Not bring my blowdryer and let that southern air style my curly hair

Sleep in

Drink morning coffee on my balcony

Try to win "some" money in the casino rather than giving them WAY too much

Enjoy every minute of being in the warmth rather than the cold
