Cruising with an 14 month old

We are planning a cruise for September of 2010 and our son will be 14 months old. He will be leaving on NCL Jewel out of NYC. Anything I should know about cruising with a 14 month old? Also, how is NCL with children in general?

The staff will dote on your son...they love kids! Have you researched the kids club age limits, as well as the pool's regulations? On most ship's un-potty trained kids (or diapered adults!) can't use the pools...that may be a consideration for you.

Dress him in a tux and have his pciture taken. The pictures are priceless.
