capasamari Posted December 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2009 You might like to take a 4-gang adaptor so you can plug more things in at once, useful for charging phones, cameras etc. Carol x
LibraLass41 Posted December 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 14, 2009 Yes the P&O ships have UK plug sockets, but take an extension socket 4 gang for your mobile charger, ipod/camera batteries and hairdryer etc. US ships sailing out of the UK like RCI and Celebrity (and Princess?) have US sockets so take a UK to US adapter . rtdiva Posted December 24, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 24, 2009 Someone mentioned sockets for hairdryers-Is there not a hairdryer in the cabin?:confused:Are the sockets universal? U.S.vs European? Ann
BrianI Posted December 24, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 24, 2009 All P&O ships have UK 230v sockets in the cabin and hairdryers are supplied also. Brian
DelR Posted January 1, 2010 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2010 Advice from my wife, you may want to pack your own hairdryer, it will probably get the job done quicker.
