Hi Everyone - if you are playing larger sums of money on the ships, do you find it necessary to get to know the casino host to collect perks? I most find them kind of annoying...but maybe I have just had a bad experience...?

My sister and I are not "high rollers" and on our last cruise on the 2nd day we found letters addressed to her and I under our door from the Casino Host giving us 500 credits and a free drink.

Exactly. Couple weeks ago on the Pearl one of the two hosts found me the third day and asked what she could do for me. ended up with 2 $150 spa credits and dinner and wine for 2 at Cagneys.
