Who cruises to escape the winter snow, the winter roads, and the winter blues?

Oh yes....in 5 weeks we fly to Sharm el Sheikh, for a luxury week before stepping on to Thomson's Celebration for a cruise round the Red Sea. This last Feb we were on NCL Jade, again touching on Egypt, and the year before the Caribbean, tho' that's not for me again.

Next year aiming for the Canaries! I hate February....just when you think it's all over....!jocap.

I heard that when the calender was made up a mistake was made in February, it was suggested that four days was ample.:rolleyes:

That's the best thing about cruising getting away from it all and if that includes, freezing cold, snow and ice even more of a get-away!! We're from Canada and love to hit the warm weather while home is in the deep freeze!! Just makes the whole experience even more wonderful and makes us cherish each and every day. :D:o

Wish I was cruising this winter, but it has not been too snowy this year, so I will be patient and wait until my cruise this summer... Michigan Summers are just slightly better than Canadians summers!
