I ' am sailing on the Oosterdam in a week and was given some medication that must stay "cool". Would anyone know if they have refrigerators in all of the cabins and if not how I can get one.

There's a fridge (more of a cooler) in every cabin on the Oosterdam.

Every cabin on the Prinsendam, all the Vista ships (Zuiderdam, Oosterdam, Westerdam, Noordam), and the Signature class ships (Eurodam and Nieuw Amsterdam) have a fridge in every cabin.

On the S- (Statendam, Maasdam, Veendam, Ryndam), and R-class ships (Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Zaandam, Volendam) have a fridge in every cabin with a balcony. Those cabins without a fridge (outsides and insides) can rent one for $2.00 per day.

Every cabin on the Oosterdam has a refrigerator.

Not certain how "cool" you must keep your medication. But all the refrigerators on HAL are really coolers. I have found that I can't even get a bottle of water cold to my liking.

You may have to consider keeping your medication in the nurse's office.

I am surprised to see that "s" class ships only have refrigerators for balcony or better cabins. We will be sailing on the Veendam next month in an oceanview and are surprised that the standard is an ice bucket. We have sailed on on Princess, Celebrity & RCL and they have always had those mini refrigerators. What's with HAL that you have to rent one?

The "mini bars" will cool to about 25 degrees below room temperature.
