keep your eye on the prices and when you see most prices go up about $50pp there should be a sale right around the corner.

No Christmas sale last year, was the two years before that I remember the Christmas sale. Too many hard feelings the way Carnival ran it, so Im sure thats why it was discontinued.

There are some great deals out there right now, but you have to look for them and be willing to maybe go someplace you didn't originally plan. The Spirit 8 day to Mexico next year has some outrageously low prices.

We got a heck of a deal this past August for 2010 sailings. Booked a 7 day on the Liberty for $519 pp for a balcony. Although I didn't book through Carnival, I have seen them match that price. I was hoping to find something cheap for this Christmas but didn't find a thing. :( Oh well, maybe next year.

Just doing a generic search on any of the travel sites for any dates in 2010, 6-8 days on Carnival will find you cruises for less than $50 a day pp for an inside and less than $100pp a day for a balcony...If you can afford it, now is the time to be booking. And those were to the Caribbean.
