Port or starboard cabin for ta to europe?

We have had two TA's both going west bound. One on aft sunny side and one bow shady side. We definitely prefer the sunny side in November, but because it was aft, it also afforded fantastic views. On the shady side we had nice views but really couldn't use the balcony on the cooler days.

Since an eastbound TA is in the springtime, I would choose a starboard cabin to take advantage of the daytime sunshine. Ports are a crapshoot as to which is better.

Enjoy your TA, they are the best!!!!

We had a starboard cabin on an eastbound TA last April on Voyager of Seas, and had lots of good sun and very little wind -- but we had a very smooth crossing with nearly flat seas for most of the sea days!! We sailed from Galveston, with 4 sea days to Bermuda, then 3 sea days to Azores, then 2 sea days to Cork Ireland, then Cherbourg France next day and last day at Southampton England. It was a great itinerary!!!
