Why when I go on Carnival's website and I check the prices of our currently booked cruise (2/27/10 on the Dream), when you use the Past Guest code it says the only cabins left are on the Main deck, cat. 7C in a balcony stateroom. When you use the Super Saver Rate, all decks and categories are available in a balcony statroom. I am confused. I thought that if you entered all the info by the special rates section, it was supposed to give you all the rates. It doesn't for me. When you plug in the fare codes manually it gives you different information. What am I missing here? Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA!

Iv never heard of a super saver rate, maybe you are looking at fun saver or fun select?

 

When I click on the past guest rate of $919, then I click on balcony, it only shows insides, OVs and yes, the one 7C rate of $919, so Im guessing that is all the past guest rates they have for balconys.

 

Which category are you trying to match?? Looks like the ship is selling out.

 

Just because there is a past guest rate, doesnt mean they have to apply it to all balconies. I do see there are plenty of 8s and suites to choose from, just not at a past guest rate.

All special rates are capacity controlled. They come and they go. Tomorrow Carnival may add some or take away the ones being offered today.
