Please name stuff other than things like, clothes, money, passport...

Additional must haves for me are:

Anything else is just extra baggage.

1. Camera - take lots of pics

2. Extra AA Batteries - gonna need them to fill up that mega memory card

3. Tweezers - I don't even run to the corner store without them

4. Headband, ponytail holders, barretts...something to keep my hair out of my face on the ship and in windy ports.

5. Plug-in air freshener with built-in night light - works great in the bathroom for obvious reasons

6. Clothespins - great for keeping your towel on your chair and for quick dry items on the balcony or bathroom

7. Hand sanitizer - don't wanna pick up any bugs that would interfere with my great cruise.

8. Purex All-In-One Laundry Sheets - Used these for the first time on my last cruise. They work great, smell nice, and helped keep me from packing extra clothes to lug around.

9. Perfumed lotion - I buy the lotion in my favorite scent and pack it instead of the bottle. It's more subtle than the spray, and it keeps me smelling pretty for my man but doesn't assault other passengers.

10. Comfy shoes - Hope this doesn't offend the OP, but I can't emphasize this enough. My first cruise, I brought nothing but heels because I was "just gonna be walking around a boat for a few minutes at a time"...HAHAHA

HA!!! I didn't realize that little, old boat was the lenght of 3 football fields, and that after about 3 days, your feet will swell up so big they won't fit in those sexy, strappy, heels you brought.

Things I HAVE to have with me:

Over-the-door shoe bag (absolute must to keep everything organized)

Listerine breath strips

Ginger pills

Bungee cords (love the balcony door open at nights)

Zipties for the luggage

Address cards (keep in touch with your new friends!)

Plastic garbage bags (for dirty clothes - I sort as I go so that all I have to do is dump each one in for a load)

Small travel clock

Collapsable cooler

Lots and lots of smaller bills for tipping, shopping, etc

Purse size expandable organizer to keep all of the paperwork organized

--Layered clothes. Sometimes it's too cool and too warm on the same day.

--Clothespins. I always rinse my bathing suit and hang it in the clothesline in the shower.

--highlighters. For the Capers, so I remember what I wanted to do that day.

--Surge protector strip. The last night I plug in my phone and Blackberry to charge before the trip home. If there are more than two of us, it makes it possible to run a hair dryer and heat a curling iron at the same time.

--Travel clock. I wake up during the night and like to know what time it is.

--Post its. I leave notes for the steward to find when he makes up the room.

--Hat.

--Duct tape. Just in case.

lol...yes they are for those stray, random, hairs that show up just about the time you're ready to take a picture in your formals, but I also work in a lumber yard and have actually used them AT the corner store to help one of my co-workers get a splinter out.
