Can to US flights - allowed "carry on items" defined

Came across a very useful notice from the Canadian equivalent of TSA detailing and showing pictures of what is allowed as "carry on"...here's the link:

One line is especially important to focus on:

Unless otherwise stated, the items must be carried on the person, and not inside a larger bag.

The inclusion of the photos and acceptable "purse" sizing is welcome.

 

I would suggest that everyone who is affected print these pages and have them with you.

Yes, that is an excellent list. Thank you! The small purse on the right is larger than I had expected to be able to carry. Very glad to know about the snacks and food items. I need to know if my last bite from Tim Horton's can travel.
