Can someone please tell me where I can find this planned worklist? I have read through this entire thread and reread it again, and I have not been able to find any posted worklist or link to a worklist. TIA.

Look at post 114 on this thread. You will see a worklist.

I found post 114. I couldn't find Seasharks orginal post. Seashark help, where did you get your information from? I have a cabin on deck eight stern which is right above the gift shop but if it's going to be a nightclub/bar now I would like change cabin locations.

The Star is in San Pedro....and the work continues....

Went down to the pier earlier, for all those who couldn't see it in J-9's pictures, here is a shot showing the hand on the bridge:

Here is another shot of the ship...the workmen were very hard at it. You can see on the front of deck 7 that they've taken down one of the lifeboats and have a dumpster raised...they are using it to catch trash from the construction.

Thanks for the pictures Sea Shark! Spinnakers still looks the same to me though...

How about tomorrow you board early, take some photos, get off the ship again and post them? Please? ;)

Or at least how about you post the link to the website you have ready so all us fanatics can keep an eye on it.

Have a great cruise. See you in passing next week.

The original thread is titled:

Where should Norwegian Star spend the rest of February?

You will find SeaSharks original post and other bits and pieces of chit chat

regarding the Star there.

The original post is dated February 8th but the source of his information

have been a closely guarded secret! ;)

ddarkt, I prefered your predicton (except for the "you people are idiots" tone of the BIG RED part), but my last hope was poofed when you revealed your sources. I was pulling for it, though.

Now I will have to test the mettle of my rose colored glasses when I go to cruise the Star at the end of the month. I can do without free champagne at boarding and I fixed my previously least-liked change at NCL by sending myself chocolate covered strawberries, but I don't know how to fix this one!:D

I have heard that these are the two major changes on the Star (from a reliable source - a source close to the captain):

1. Spinakers is gone for more cabin space.

2. The gift shop (aft) has been removed and in it's place a "Bliss" type lounge/bar. The gift shops have been moved more mid ship (where, I do not know).

3. The beds were all upgraded.

4. There are Canadian Maple Leafs everywhere now.

J.

Sorry to resurrect a thread that was apparently in hibernation, but is point # 4 in reference to those scrumptious little maple candies? If so and they truly are everywhere, I'd better start buying clothes a size up and take a glucometer with me... those things are one of my biggest vices!!!
