Ive read on here somewhere before, that you can find out about how many kids so far have been booked on a certain cruise before you make the decision, on weather to bring a friend along with your child so they will have someone other than their parents to hang out with.

we have been on many cruises and usually, they are during the school year and 2 week cruises and not many children, so we have always taken a friend along, but its kinda hard to get someone to agree to let their child go out of the country for 2 weeks and take homework with them, even if were paying for everything, its just the worries of them being away from home

we been doing this for last 12 years, and we hear from different passengers that you CAN call somewhere? to find out.

Ive call every where with no no help!

we are booked on panama canal may 7th leaving Ft Lauderdale with our 12 year old daughter for 14 day cruise on Sea Princess

Princess should be able to tell you how many are booked in her age catagory. However, a 12 year old will not want to be in her designated cat, simply because it encompasses either 8-12 or 9-12. In any event, she will not be allowed to be with the 13's under any circumstances.

That being said, if you intend to bring along a friend, you are going to need a whole lot of paperwork, so I would suggest you start on that too.
